Propose of minaret is when praying time comes imam goes up there chants the ezan like ( yelling,screaming) This way whole village knows the time of pray. Hundreds of years ago this was OK in Muslim countries. Today they still need in many cities and villages in those primitive Muslim countries. But in Swiss? or any other European countries? Do they need this???
