i'm at 192,000 in my '97 prizm. doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. we hit -4 degrees today and it had been sitting for 4 days. fired right up like i figured it would. great cars.
right on man,iv got a 94' with a4afe and three speed with 173,753 hard miles on it,just had compression test done and was told its perfect across all four cylinders,amazing engines and great little cars.you still have yours,and if yes how many miles now?
@smkrmnkllr Right now its still going strong at 214,000 miles no problems. You know the reason most Prizm's end up in the junk yard is because the 3-speed automatic gives out, those engines last forever
214k,,still have another 100k left in it ,,i didnt know that about the three speed,its good to know though,mine's not doing anything weird yet but ill keep that in mind,i dont drive it to hard,but if mine goes out i think ill put the overdrive tranny in it,i know ill never send mine to the junk yard,it has centimental value ya know,,ill be doin a 200k vid too 1 day,,keep me posted bud,,
Your Prizm has ABS, I read. Mine does too. Have you ever had to have the wheel speed sensors replaced on your Prizm ABS system? The yellow ABS light is on on mine.
Ive never had any issues or anything replaced with the ABS system on my car just normal brake replacements. I have started to have a grinding noise in the front driver side wheel though.
i got a 1990 hatch back with 230,000 on it still going strong
