  • without Macca's music, life is incomplete:) <3

  • @patoolkaxD

This. A strange ode to rock n roll, but not the best on the album.

  • I completely 100% hands down totally no doubt about it absolutely no argument can't change my mind love McCartney's music.

  • Is it just me, or has part of this melody been on Spongebob?

  • "Without marijuana, life is incomplete" apparently LOL.

  • This kind of has an Elvis quality to it.

  • thats wat makes it bad ass man

  • Marijuana is the driving force behind this album.

  • This one, Nobody Knows and Coming Up are the better of this album.

  • @polarmolar

"This One" was on "Flowers In The Dirt"

  • @polarmolar

Agreed. Those are some of the best off the album. Waterfalls and Summer Day Song are also some of the best here, imo.

  • trippy rock n roll! great combination :-)

  • this song almost has a stray cats kinda sound to it; neato beat man!

  • nobody unlike :)

  • 0 unlike :)

  • My comment is equal to the guitar lead played throughout the song....

  • My favourite bit of this song has always been the first note hit on the lead guitar solo thing.

  • Smokin' too many bongies. ;)

  • BOGEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SOUNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • if it's not maybe the most smokin' tribute to the pelvis of graceland, what the **** is it then?

  • everybody bogey

  • the drums at the begining of this record alway's have reminded me to the song radar love by golden earring.

  • Orehdoog - Not one of my favorite McCartney albums, but thanks for the interesting notes.

  • According to the album liner notes, the song is based upon the book, "Fungus the Bogeyman", creatures who lived in dark, damp places, and referred to people on the surface as "dry cleaners".

  • With the echoe effect it is similar to Elvis Presleys early work for sun records like "Blue moon of Kentucky"

  • bass...

  • It's inspired by a book called 'Fungus the Bogeyman'. Bogeymen HATE music.

  • Cheers to "The Bogey Man." I wonder if it was about Humphrey Bogart?

  • Without Paul....my life is incomplete

  • Kinda reminds me of Adam Ant.

  • without bogey music, life is incomplete

  • Very true! This is some of Paul's best, but I wonder if he ever does this song live.

  • @sandinyourshoes To my knowledge, I don't think he's ever done this live. Don't think he ever will.

  • @ter521fad, that is too bad. Paul could really rock any show to the ground with this funky song. Then again, it is not as if he cannot do so with his many other hits. I had a friend who said McCartney II was her absolutely favorite album from the Mac. She always danced to this song. I can see why, too. The beat is just wild.

  • @sandinyourshoes Here's an idea. If you ever see McCartney live and you get a seat with a real good view of the stage, hold up a sign that says 'Play Bogey Music, Paul!" I doubt he'd remember the song, but you never know.

  • @ter521fad, that would be a scream! The thought of it is so fun, too. I would be fall to pieces whether Paul did or did not remember the song. The "Bogey Beat" is hard to resist. I know my friend would still dance her brains out if she were listening to this song again.

  • i always loved the atmosphere that reigns in McCartney II

  • @RedChuck38 totally agree
