Can I count on the experience of two Ford Fusion V6 AWD, a 2009 the other 2011, both ZEROS, The 1st fought with 18.000km + exchange AWD traction. Car towed, 28 days of repair. Here was proposed an exchange, paid the difference and took a ZERO. The Fusion V6 AWD 2011 lasted even less, returning from vacation with my family to 7.000km, the Fusion went out, I'm hours for 20 days on foot and by paying a rental car from the pocket. Ford anymore.

This car looks like (apart from front grill) almost exactly like Ford Mondeo, which has been in sale in europe since...2007. I guess Ford will take another car (after fiesta and focus) developed by european ford divison for european market, just redesign it slightly and sell it as a new car in US.

a ford employee designing the design language for one of Ford's subsidiaries makes that look a design language that Ford can house in it's Design bank. The brands' DNA was rich with the likes of Van Ackerman who gave Mazda it's "flow" look, the legendary Horburry who gave us the MKT and MKS concepts, and Callum who was instructed to breath new life into what was a lame brand who could gone the route of MG Rover and many other british makes. Aston got its look from a Ford Employee.

It may be foreign to you to see that shaped grill NOW in 2012 on an American Ford car but it has been interpreted into Ford's of the past during the last decade: Iosis, Iosis X, S-Max, C-Max, Kuga, Focus, Fiesta, and now in America on the Fusion.

Really don't talk enough about this one... the plug in comes with a 2.0 Ecoboost engine that turns on when you accelerate (i.e. freeway on-ramp, passing) then seamlessly shuts off and switches back to battery. When using the engine (if you drive past the battery range), the engine shuts off when you stop at a stoplight, then turns back on when you release the brake.
