@BAK87 Thanks. This one is my personal prototype and the finish is a simple satin gel coat. I have thought of other antique French Polishes - it is all doable. Actually, there is a hidden hole under fingerboard but it is for the fingerboard support beam to pass through (as it does go to 24 frets). I suppose some sort of ornamental lute hole could be put between X brace and fingerboard. I since installed a Baggs I-Beam in it and have had some fun with my Jam Man looper ;-).
Hey Jonathan. Fantastic looking guitar. I love the shape & headstock and 24 frets, as it is somewhat different from "classic" guitars.
Would put translucent cherry finish on it and a baroque sound-hole/rosette somewhere above 18th fret. Nom nom nom :P
What kind of finish did you apply? Do you intend to wire it with piezo or mic?
