@MegaOverheat If your friend is in the room with you, I'd recommend getting a big mic so both of your voices can be picked up, and set it up on a table or something convenient. Don't move it too far away from you, though.
If it's over Skype or something similar, then you need 2 mics. That should be obvious, but yeah.
Thanks man this really help because I'm doing a Minecraft lets play but had trouble setting it up so where the only thing i am having trouble with is ow to get cam studio and Project 64 if u can help me on that, that would be great. :D But if any one would like to see my let's play minecraft and other games (when i have the chance to) please come watch but anyway thanks this help. :D
@UltamiteBurst Don't mean to sound like an a-hole, but Google's your friend here. Just find the link to the official website and there should be a download link somewhere on there.
I usually use the AVI recorder built in with some emulators and it always de-syncs (the game audio and video). In addition, my mic and video are always out of sync. Help me plz
@Mariogamer985 Going through that would take up another entire video. Just get a Dazzle at a Best Buy (it's around $49.99) and search up 'Pinnacle Dazzle tutorial' on Google or something else. Others might know a hell of a lot more than I do.
Btw i think you can just talk to skype while you play so you dont need a mic! Or do you need a one for talking on skype? My friends say that you dont
@Arzi5 Not if you're using just CamStudio. Something's wrong with the "Record Audio from Speakers" option on CamStudio that causes it to not work properly. If I were you, I'd look at the video response to this one, it shows you how to record both game and microphone audio by using both CamStudio and Audacity.
@TheBlackOpticFTW First of all, not to embarrass you or anything, but try and check to see if the mic comes with a volume control appendage on the cord. Usually there's a switch on those that mutes your microphone, be sure that you've switched that off if there is one.
Afterwards, right click the speaker @ the bottom right corner of your screen, click "Recording Devices" and speak into your mic. The green bars on the right show you if it's picking up your voice. If it doesn't, we'll work on it.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Well, those green bars do appear... I think... But I think it has something to do with... that I don't got a voice recording software, like Audacity.
I'm totally n00b-ish, but I thought that you would still hear it if you recorded... :´(
So when i import the video, if i just click play right on the video it works fine, tho it is rlly laggy and only takes up 1/4 of the screen reviewing it for the windows player thing. But when i drag and drop it to the timeline and play it from the timeline, NOTHING HAPPENS IN THE PREVIEW SECTION AT ALL! its just black completely, but when i import audio, it works fine starting on the timeline. wut am i doing wrong?
@imaprettybirdieyay Hmm, are you recording a game in full screen? I've tried that before with a crappy Tech Deck Dudes game and I might have had the same result. Try using HyperCam 2 to record it instead (it's also free) and see if it gets any better. Also, the lag might just be the odd default settings CamStudio has, I might've already answered how to fix that in another comment. I'll repost it as soon as I find it.
@imaprettybirdieyay Yeah, here's how to fix the slight lag in your videos with CamStudio. Go to the Video Options tab, and in the following sections input the number shown:
Set Key Frames Every - 30 seconds
Capture Frames Every - 50 seconds
Playback Rate - 20 seconds
HyperCam 2 might have different settings. It hasn't really given me slow playback recently, but that might be because I have a different video codec (DivX). Just try it with the default ones and see where it gets you.
@iriselis1 You can choose which folder you save your videos to with CamStudio. Try looking through the CamStudio folder in your Program Files (can be found by clicking Start and selecting Computer) or your My Videos folder in your documents.
@snowboardinyeha Mine's okay for gaming. Yours should be running much faster because according to the specs you gave me your computer is much stronger than mine.
Try downloading HyperCam 2 and using that instead, see if you still encounter any problems. Also, it might be wise to google up a new codec for your computer. I use DivX, but that's personal preference.
Any advice on making things run faster? I've been using camstudio and emulators (the only things I can make videos of are GBA games or older, otherwise its choppy and slow), I'm using vista (i know, i know..) just wondering if any settings in any programs would speed me up?
@xlilacattack Close as many programs as you can before recording, like web browsers and chat applications. Also, see if you can disable some programs that run on startup, that's a common problem in slowing down computers. You'll have to Google it up to find out how to do it, but it isn't that complicated.
@SpellingerrorGames You download a ROM off of the internet, open the emulator, hit File and select Open ROM. Find where you saved the ROM and open it and you should be good.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx It doesn't open and I am using version 2.6. It just exited out of the program and I couldn't open it again, I tried downloading it again but it gives me an error message about how there is a file and it can't delete or replace it or something.
@verhappytoast It should, but most games that run in fullscreen won't work with CamStudio. Try XFire or Fraps or something if you want to record those.
@OriGasmo Well, I'm 15 too, so no. There's not really an age limit, but the more whiny people sound, the less likely people are going to enjoy their videos. It's basically Youtube in a nutshell.
@OriGasmo 1. Xbox Mics have very bad sound quality compared to other mics, so I wouldn't recommend it, but you can still do it if you want.
2. Whatever game you think warrants one. Most people watch Amnesia LPs to listen to the reactions of the player, so it's a good game to LP if you don't mind getting the piss scared out of you.
hey I was just thinking about doing some let's plays and I noticed that while using fraps that it used up at least one GB for only 30 seconds. is it that way with all other recording studios as well?
@xDarksoil Video files are usually large, but in your case it seems unusually big. Is Fraps using the Microsoft Video Codec? Because if it is, then that's your problem. The default codec makes video files huge.
I'd recommend searching for a free codec pack on the internet and installing it to your computer. I use DivX, but that's just personal preference.
good work, but for the camstudio audio recording; people say to use the volume control panel to make your microphone sound come out of the speakers, and make camstudio record audio from the speakers. but i cant find the volume control at all. so is there any other way to record commentary as your playing and not afterwards using another program or could you tell me how to find the volume control. thanks alot
is there a cheap way to make a lp cuz all i have is a Wii and pc (pc is not fixed yay!) and thats it cuz all i have is 12 dollars lol (lil allowence and im only 11) lol
@joystickers I'm not terribly knowledgeable on compressors, although I do know that if you're using certain codecs (i.e. DivX) or using a different video file (MPEG, although you can't use that option on CamStudio) the video size becomes considerably smaller. Things like quality and length also come into play with how long the upload takes/how big the file is. I'm sure someone else can explain that better than I can, sorry.
@avatarfire99245 If you're recording fullscreen, you should probably use Hypercam 2. It's free and has recording commands that you can custom-map to any of the keys on your keyboard, i.e. F2 to record and F3 to stop. You can also record separate windows, including fullscreen ones like Sims 3.
@LEONIAPOTTER96310 Dazzles are a different breed, but I know a little bit about them. To get all of the game's audio on video form while playing it on your TV, you'll have to acquire 3 RCA Y-splitters and a male A/V cable (yellow/white/red cable). You can find these on Amazon or at your local electronics store, such as Best Buy or Radioshack. I can't really explain the plug-in setup without a visual aid, but I'll probably release a video showing how to set it up soon.
ok im trying to do a morrowind lets play with fraps but the audio is always too loud and you can hear me talking because of it any idea on how i can fix this?
@Haithereperson13 If you're talking about the game's audio, then there should be an option to turn it down. If there isn't, then go to the "Recording devices" tab, go to you microphone, and hit "Properties." Then, click the "Levels" tab and turn your microphone's volume up. The audio will probably have more static, but you won't have to deal with the game's audio droning yours out.
@AwesomeArticuno Open Skype, download PrettyMay Call Recorder, record a good 15 minutes worth of call audio, save the audio file to your computer, open Windows Movie Maker, and put the video and audio in the video and audio slots on the timeline.
Or, if you already have the audio, open it in WMM and insert it into the video. It'll appear on the timeline as a green bar. (or underneath the video timeline if you're using version 2.6.
@sandhedsserum CamStudio, unfortunately, can't record fullscreen games. For that matter, if you want to record from your TV, you'll need at least a Dazzle and some RCD audio and video splitters to connect the two. The setup is somewhat confusing, but the non-HD version goes for about $49.
There might be other ways you can record without purchasing a Dazzle, but they are much more complicated to use overall.
@LowQualityGaming You could, but it basically depends on what type of computer you're running on. If it's a laptop, don't bother. But if your PC can handle frame rates very well, and you're willing to shell out 37 bucks, you could totally do that.
But I have a problem when I tried: the sound of my commentary is good, but I have no sound of the game on the video, just my comments. I mean I can hear the sound of the game (the game have sound and I can hear it when recording) but not in the video I made. Is it normal? and how to do it?
@Toxicrafa If you're using CamStudio to record your microphone, yes, this is completely and utterly normal.
My solution is to download the new Audacity (the old one crashes a lot), and go to Edit, and select Preferences. Select 'Microphone Realtek Audio' as your recording input, then save your changes and exit. From then on, go to CamStudio, select "Audio Options for Microphone," and enable and select "Stereo Mix Realtek Audio" from the list. My video response covers how to do this.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks it works. And I hope this will help others as well. But another thing now. I tried but te games are so laggy when I am recording... Do you know something about that or how to fix it? Thanks again.
Hey man, id really like if you answer this question i have. I dont speak english very fluently. Should i narrate anyways or dont narrate at all? Would it be boring?
@zancod I think, whether you speak english fluently or not, you should at least attempt to make some narration. A Let's Play isn't really considered a Let's Play without commentary.
@beney4 Yep. It runs windowed and in a browser, so you're good to go. I don't know how you'll make a Minecraft LP last more than a few parts, since technically, Minecraft goes on forever, but that's up to you.
If you are TRULY STUCK (aka, you can't seem to finish a level in... Super Meat Boy), then stop the recording until you finish, or 'cut' the recording during the editing magic. If you're at a really tedious part which takes a long time, fast forward the section.
HOWEVER, try not to cut too much. It can become disorienting.
Also, I heard YT changed the rules: as long as you don't have any strikes against your account, you can have a vid at any length as long it's less than 2 GB...?
@TheChristianomac The actual window, or the space that you're recording?
If it's the space you're recording, that's what's supposed to happen. If it's the actual window, try redownloading CamStudio or download an updated version.
@EmeraldGekko That's why you open up the emulator BEFORE recording. Also, be sure to go to "Cursor Options" and check the "Hide Cursor" option so your cursor doesn't show up. That has happened to me. A lot. And you get a surprising amount of flak for having it in your videos.
I have camstudio as well, but I can't get it to record my Dragon Age game on my pc, it record the sound, but the screen is just black. I really want to do a let's play with it. Could you help?
@HalfBreedsHonor Well, Camstudio usually only records windowed programs, like Project 64. Thus, since you are (most likely) running the game in full screen, it won't record it properly. I'd suggest downloading Fraps or X-Fire (X-Fire is free, but harder to use. Likewise, Fraps isn't free, but it records with much higher quality).
Quick question: how exactly does one record one's voice? I have camstudio and the recording program Music Editor Free, since I heard that Audacity now crashes very frequently. When I record, the gameplay and the sounds in it record, but not my voice. I don't know if this helps, but I have Windows Movie Maker (both live and version 2.6) and Pinnacle Studio v. 14. Thanks!
@IceBerg91259 If you use Vista or 7, first things first, you'll have to make sure it's activated. Scroll the mouse down to the bottom-right corner and you should see a speaker icon. Right-click this, then select "Recording devices" and make sure your mic is enabled.
Second, make sure, if you're only using Camstudio, that you have the recording device selected in the "Audio Options" tab. If you want to use Audacity instead, look at the video response, it shows you how to set that up.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks for the info! I'm still having trouble, but for now, I'm going to record from my console, and I'll experiment with Camstudio later. Anyways, your voice is epic, and you have great videos. Have a good one.
@Coryn02 You can take screenshots of the game you're playing and post them on a webpage with text commentary. Gamers like to call this a "Text Let's Play." I wouldn't try making a video out of it, though. Those would look a little weird.
I've never personally done a text Let's Play, but I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials for making those on the internet somewhere. Try googling it up.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks! I'll see how a Text Let's Play would work. BUT, is there an efficient, free way to record my voice for a regular Let's Play?
Would you say it's easier to use camstudio than fraps? And does this mean that no cables are needed for this process. sorry to ask but i am hoping to do this sort of activity pretty soon on another account.
@EmeraldGekko Well, if you have the full version of Fraps, I'd recommend using that, since there isn't a watermark on the top of the videos, and your recording time isn't limited, so you can record more than one segment at a time. Plus, there's an option to record your mic right then and there.
I'd recommend Camstudio if you absolutely cannot afford Fraps. It's not that hard to use, and you can use Audacity to record your mic while recording the game audio. Video response shows you how.
@LordxOfxThexMariosx do you vitally need project 64 or any other emulator for the job? And is timing for Camstudio limited like the full version of fraps?
@EmeraldGekko Project 64 is only really recommended if you absolutely can't afford a capture card/Dazzle/Gamebridge/whatever. And no, you can record as long as you wish with Camstudio.
@EmeraldGekko Video-wise, 15 minutes. Entire Let's Play-wise, it can be as long as you want to make it, as long as you actually get to finishing the game eventually.
@Dizturb3dWun For dual commentary, the two things I would recommend using (that are both free) are Skype to call your friend(s), and Pamela Call Recorder (or PrettyMay Call Recorder). When you start the call, get prepared, then drag the video capture thing over the window and hit the "Record" button. A message will pop up in the Skype chat, saying something like "This call is now being recorded." Then just hit stop when you've finished with your first part.
@babyscottish12 BYou can either, like I suggested to the other guy a while back, buy Fraps, which is less complicated to use, or get X-Fire, which is free. I'd recommend you try Fraps if X-Fire is giving you problems, but go with X-Fire first.
yeah i made 2 tries on doing a lets play on super metroid but the audio always came out wrong. Is there any other recorders than camstudio that lets you record your voice while playing without it turning out wrong? I dont feel like going on WMM just to edit the sound to match perfectly
Question. If you have only 1 mic and you wana do a let's play with friend, do i have to buy two mics or one big mic?
P.S i have that kind of skype mic you know what im saying?

@MegaOverheat If your friend is in the room with you, I'd recommend getting a big mic so both of your voices can be picked up, and set it up on a table or something convenient. Don't move it too far away from you, though.

LordxOfxThexMariosx 8 months ago
is it xvid or divx???
applepie1591 8 months ago
@applepie1591 DivX. No clue what Xvid is. Probably a pre-configured codec for CamStudio that isn't installed yet. I use DivX, though.

good work, but for the camstudio audio recording; people say to use the volume control panel to make your microphone sound come out of the speakers, and make camstudio record audio from the speakers. but i cant find the volume control at all. so is there any other way to record commentary as your playing and not afterwards using another program or could you tell me how to find the volume control. thanks alot

LordxOfxThexMariosx 8 months ago
Thank you for the CamStudio bump. I'm going to try this in addition to FRAPS. Good work. And good luck to all the other LPers out there. ;)

@FlareShift To my knowledge, no. You might be able to somehow work it to record the entire window, but that's not my cup of tea.

@LordxOfxThexMariosx you can set the setiings to full screen mode and have hot keys for recording.

How do u record it from a c. Game like the sims 3 do u have to open it first and do u need to use a camera?
avatarfire99245 10 months ago
@avatarfire99245 If you're recording fullscreen, you should probably use Hypercam 2. It's free and has recording commands that you can custom-map to any of the keys on your keyboard, i.e. F2 to record and F3 to stop. You can also record separate windows, including fullscreen ones like Sims 3.

57stewie 10 months ago
@LEONIAPOTTER96310 Dazzles are a different breed, but I know a little bit about them. To get all of the game's audio on video form while playing it on your TV, you'll have to acquire 3 RCA Y-splitters and a male A/V cable (yellow/white/red cable). You can find these on Amazon or at your local electronics store, such as Best Buy or Radioshack. I can't really explain the plug-in setup without a visual aid, but I'll probably release a video showing how to set it up soon.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 11 months ago
ok im trying to do a morrowind lets play with fraps but the audio is always too loud and you can hear me talking because of it any idea on how i can fix this?
Haithereperson13 11 months ago
@Haithereperson13 If you're talking about the game's audio, then there should be an option to turn it down. If there isn't, then go to the "Recording devices" tab, go to you microphone, and hit "Properties." Then, click the "Levels" tab and turn your microphone's volume up. The audio will probably have more static, but you won't have to deal with the game's audio droning yours out.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 11 months ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx ok thanks :D

HOW DO WE ADD COMMENTARY TO VIDEO????
AwesomeArticuno 1 year ago
@AwesomeArticuno Open Skype, download PrettyMay Call Recorder, record a good 15 minutes worth of call audio, save the audio file to your computer, open Windows Movie Maker, and put the video and audio in the video and audio slots on the timeline.
Or, if you already have the audio, open it in WMM and insert it into the video. It'll appear on the timeline as a green bar. (or underneath the video timeline if you're using version 2.6.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks for the help

Why does this not work on more advanced games, such as Counter Strike: Source, Mass Effect 2 or CoD: Modern Warfare 2?
sandhedsserum 1 year ago
@sandhedsserum CamStudio, unfortunately, can't record fullscreen games. For that matter, if you want to record from your TV, you'll need at least a Dazzle and some RCD audio and video splitters to connect the two. The setup is somewhat confusing, but the non-HD version goes for about $49.
There might be other ways you can record without purchasing a Dazzle, but they are much more complicated to use overall.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Ok, thanks for answering.
sandhedsserum 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Couldn't you just purchase Fraps?
LowQualityGaming 11 months ago
@LowQualityGaming You could, but it basically depends on what type of computer you're running on. If it's a laptop, don't bother. But if your PC can handle frame rates very well, and you're willing to shell out 37 bucks, you could totally do that.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 11 months ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Oh, sorry. I forgot that not everyone has a high-end computer. I guess this would be a sensible solution.
LowQualityGaming 11 months ago
Thanks for the tip!
But I have a problem when I tried: the sound of my commentary is good, but I have no sound of the game on the video, just my comments. I mean I can hear the sound of the game (the game have sound and I can hear it when recording) but not in the video I made. Is it normal? and how to do it?
Thanks
Toxicrafa 1 year ago
@Toxicrafa If you're using CamStudio to record your microphone, yes, this is completely and utterly normal.
My solution is to download the new Audacity (the old one crashes a lot), and go to Edit, and select Preferences. Select 'Microphone Realtek Audio' as your recording input, then save your changes and exit. From then on, go to CamStudio, select "Audio Options for Microphone," and enable and select "Stereo Mix Realtek Audio" from the list. My video response covers how to do this.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks it works. And I hope this will help others as well. But another thing now. I tried but te games are so laggy when I am recording... Do you know something about that or how to fix it? Thanks again.
Toxicrafa 1 year ago
@Toxicrafa Try minimizing the amount of programs you're using while recording the game. That usually helps if your computer doesn't have a high RAM.
Also, what games are you playing, and what emulator are you using?
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks I'll do that. But I have 4Go...
Toxicrafa 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Ah and I tried on minecraft and Amnesia the dark descent. They run pretty smooth, but not when recording.
Toxicrafa 1 year ago
@Toxicrafa I tried recording Minecraft a few times. The frame rate got severely below average.
Try recording an emulator with a game running and see if it runs slowly then.

zancod 1 year ago
@zancod I think, whether you speak english fluently or not, you should at least attempt to make some narration. A Let's Play isn't really considered a Let's Play without commentary.

will i be able to make a lets play of minecraft ? plz respond :)
beney4 1 year ago
@beney4 Yep. It runs windowed and in a browser, so you're good to go. I don't know how you'll make a Minecraft LP last more than a few parts, since technically, Minecraft goes on forever, but that's up to you.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
A tip:
If you are TRULY STUCK (aka, you can't seem to finish a level in... Super Meat Boy), then stop the recording until you finish, or 'cut' the recording during the editing magic. If you're at a really tedious part which takes a long time, fast forward the section.
HOWEVER, try not to cut too much. It can become disorienting.
Also, I heard YT changed the rules: as long as you don't have any strikes against your account, you can have a vid at any length as long it's less than 2 GB...?
Tehpillowstar 1 year ago
@Tehpillowstar That is correct, time limits are essentially removed (unless you get a strike, which limits them back to 15:00)

TheChristianomac 1 year ago
@TheChristianomac The actual window, or the space that you're recording?
If it's the space you're recording, that's what's supposed to happen. If it's the actual window, try redownloading CamStudio or download an updated version.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx yeah its the actual window and whenever it happens i have to restart the computer. thanks i'll try it out!
TheChristianomac 1 year ago
wont the lets play have you recording yourself opening up the emulator, if that makes sense?
EmeraldGekko 1 year ago
@EmeraldGekko That's why you open up the emulator BEFORE recording. Also, be sure to go to "Cursor Options" and check the "Hide Cursor" option so your cursor doesn't show up. That has happened to me. A lot. And you get a surprising amount of flak for having it in your videos.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
I have camstudio as well, but I can't get it to record my Dragon Age game on my pc, it record the sound, but the screen is just black. I really want to do a let's play with it. Could you help?
HalfBreedsHonor 1 year ago
@HalfBreedsHonor Well, Camstudio usually only records windowed programs, like Project 64. Thus, since you are (most likely) running the game in full screen, it won't record it properly. I'd suggest downloading Fraps or X-Fire (X-Fire is free, but harder to use. Likewise, Fraps isn't free, but it records with much higher quality).

@Coryn02 how about record it with your cell phone and e-mail it to yourself, once you get it on the computer you can use it

@Coryn02 I guess so. It wouldn't quite be as exciting, but I guess you could call that a Let's Play, technically.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
Great video!
14. Thanks!
IceBerg91259 1 year ago
@IceBerg91259 What type of mic are you using, first things first?
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx I'm using a headset, which is a Microsoft LifeChat LX-2000.
IceBerg91259 1 year ago
@IceBerg91259 If you use Vista or 7, first things first, you'll have to make sure it's activated. Scroll the mouse down to the bottom-right corner and you should see a speaker icon. Right-click this, then select "Recording devices" and make sure your mic is enabled.
Second, make sure, if you're only using Camstudio, that you have the recording device selected in the "Audio Options" tab. If you want to use Audacity instead, look at the video response, it shows you how to set that up.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx Thanks for the info! I'm still having trouble, but for now, I'm going to record from my console, and I'll experiment with Camstudio later. Anyways, your voice is epic, and you have great videos. Have a good one.

Is there a way to do a Let's Play with commentary without a headset or microphone?
Coryn02 1 year ago
@Coryn02 You can take screenshots of the game you're playing and post them on a webpage with text commentary. Gamers like to call this a "Text Let's Play." I wouldn't try making a video out of it, though. Those would look a little weird.
I've never personally done a text Let's Play, but I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials for making those on the internet somewhere. Try googling it up.

Would you say it's easier to use camstudio than fraps? And does this mean that no cables are needed for this process. sorry to ask but i am hoping to do this sort of activity pretty soon on another account.
EmeraldGekko 1 year ago
@EmeraldGekko Well, if you have the full version of Fraps, I'd recommend using that, since there isn't a watermark on the top of the videos, and your recording time isn't limited, so you can record more than one segment at a time. Plus, there's an option to record your mic right then and there.
I'd recommend Camstudio if you absolutely cannot afford Fraps. It's not that hard to use, and you can use Audacity to record your mic while recording the game audio. Video response shows you how.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx do you vitally need project 64 or any other emulator for the job? And is timing for Camstudio limited like the full version of fraps?
EmeraldGekko 1 year ago
@EmeraldGekko Project 64 is only really recommended if you absolutely can't afford a capture card/Dazzle/Gamebridge/whatever. And no, you can record as long as you wish with Camstudio.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@LordxOfxThexMariosx how long should a let's play last?
EmeraldGekko 1 year ago
@EmeraldGekko Video-wise, 15 minutes. Entire Let's Play-wise, it can be as long as you want to make it, as long as you actually get to finishing the game eventually.

how would i make a dual-commentary?
Dizturb3dWun 1 year ago
@Dizturb3dWun For dual commentary, the two things I would recommend using (that are both free) are Skype to call your friend(s), and Pamela Call Recorder (or PrettyMay Call Recorder). When you start the call, get prepared, then drag the video capture thing over the window and hit the "Record" button. A message will pop up in the Skype chat, saying something like "This call is now being recorded." Then just hit stop when you've finished with your first part.
LordxOfxThexMariosx 1 year ago
@Dizturb3dWun Either buy a microphone, or plug only the mic plug in of the headset
