  • OMG are all western journalists that stupid? What does Stalingrad and the Eternal flame have to do with politics? Are they trying to insult war veterans?

  • its so funny to read this western idiots in comments who think that putin is a communist))

  • look Sabaton Stalingrad

  • There's a light in the Kremlin! Comrade Putin is hard at work through the night...

  • Long live the Mother *&%#er land!

  • 3) forcing military practices that resulted in millions of Red Army soldiers being killed and/or captured that should not have been killed or captured 4) resulting in huge areas of the Soviet Union to be captured by the genocide-intending nazis that resulted in millions and millions and millions of Russian/Ukrainian/Belorussian peoples to be purposely slaughtered and murdered by the nazi vermin.

27 million Soviet peoples died when that number should have been MUCH lower but for Stalin.

  • Stalin's police state during the war is PROBABLY what saved Russia from the nazi genocide but even leaving aside the millions of deaths resulting from the 1930s industrialization, Stalin is responsible for 15-20 million needless Russian/Ukrainian/Belorussian/etc. deaths due to: 1) the murder of thousands of Red Army officers in 1937-38, 2) ignoring OBVIOUS signs of imminent nazi invasion leaving Red Army soldiers completely vulnerable to the nazi onslaught,

    (cont.)

  • I'm NOT speaking as a communist.

Stalin was Russia's greatest leader, regardless if he was communist or not. Putin is the second best since Stalin, and Medvedev basically is Putin, which makes him great too.

  • @CharlesVariations Lol are you kidding? That's the most rediculous thing i've heard today, it's fit for a russian ultra-nationalist.

  • @HavidDagstrom

    "it's fit for a russian ultra-nationalist."

    ;)

  • It's a shame now that Russia's leaders would actually allow Western journalists to viciously spread lies and criticize them in their own motherland.

  • long live Putin!!!

    red greetings from denmark

  • Putin changed name of Volgograd? OLOLOLlolo)

  • I laugh at how russians blame everyone but themselves for shit their past leaders did .

  • @crazyhorse1369: The Russian people have accepted what Stalin did in the past, but they see his defense of the Motherland against the Nazis and his push for industrialization before anything else.

  • @AceLord49th Crazy

  • @crazyhorse1369 Say's the American, you see the Ironi?

Ofc you don't you live in an american bubble.

Where you create you'r own history

  • @Fredrikfez We don't create our own history . Anyone who thinks we do is a retard . dumbass russians can't even spell .

  • @crazyhorse1369 Oh you dont?

Just look at Communism, get out from the "World Cop" Center US.

    discover the world!

Americans live in a bubble, a bubble controlled by the government. Believe me, in 20-30 years it will make sence to you.

"Freedom and Democracy" are just another way of saying, (the government) We will completely ignore you, but we will make you believe we listen to you.

  • @Fredrikfez Oh here we go again . Same old comments from anti americans who can't keep their cock suckers shut . Ya know what . You are just jealous of the USA and always will be . Russia has a government stricter than the USA 's .

  • @Fredrikfez Same old comment, Show me one comment wich is close to mine.

    And yes I am jealous.

Who cares if its "stricter"? The people are more happy, they where more happy under Soviet Stalin than today after the americans destroyed it with lies and propaganda.

    Yes I am jealous.. Haha

  • @crazyhorse1369 fuck you you bastard american. you are a butt fucker, you faggot

  • @crazyhorse1369 fucker

  • i think Stalin deserve to be celebrate, not Koba but Stalin, he is the superior and ideal symbol who represent the objectif of the dictature of the proletarian mass, the way from the inequality of capitalism to socialism. Like was Jesus for humanism, of course like for jesus horror was made in his name but we must not forgot his great accomplishment and the meaning of the power of his myth and cult of personality. Hail stalin, father of communism.

  • @GJGJ654 As a shameless Stalinist, you have to be a moral moron to give credit to Stalin for anything but dumbing down Russia by killing Russian scientists and engineers. Russia should have been much, much greater, but it could not be with Stalin's boot constricting its scientific neck. Moreover, Stalin was a bloody, savage beast who will suffer deserved punishment in hell for mass murder against countless millions, including those in the Katyn massacre of Polish POWs.

  • These people are so screwed up it's gonna take them 100 years of McD and Coca Cola to get their search for "Power" and "a man of Steel out of their brainwashed minds. Only been half demokratic for 18 years now and they rank high on the international censurship.. No free press, no free television = no free speach = communist slavery

  • @rillehector But the people are happy. Just listen to them, they are happy I think thats what counts.

  • @sovietkotek True lover of Russia and super patriot Solzhenytzin told the truth about Stalin's acts of destruction extremely devastating against Russia's interests and scientific potential reduced thanks to Stalin's paranoid purges against some of Russia's best scientific minds.

  • 2% of people worldwide are thought to be rich. and keep 50% of assets in the world.1 / 3 of the world population is poor. What the world became when under Capitalism?

  • the number 1 thumps up is right and doesnt just say it because he loves Russia but also because its the truth think about what he says 4 real

  • The only difference betwen a "Heroic Leader" like Stalin and "Villain Leader like Hitler" is that Stalin was sucefull and Hitler wasnt had Hitler won the war everyone in world would say he was great man he lead his people to victory he was mercifull had no flaws and pretty much a demi-god. But since he lost he is the "Villain" the man that we should blame all bad things at the man that killed milions and bla bla Stalin on other hand is great man had no flaws only godness like in Comic Book Hero.

  • @ImperialGuard9001 Stalin was a greater failure than Hitler. He put the Russian people through hell on the principle that the end justifies the means. You can't "make a worker's-paradise omelet without cracking eggs", and he cracked several million. Stalin created a command economy that could not function without terror. In the end it collapsed into the mafia-ridden, wild west economy of today that produces nothing and lives off oil exports.

a failed experiment But yes, Russia won the war.

  • islamics and comunists the same bloody killers

  • @marcolante not even close fool!!! and you know it!! I dont get why idiots like you who dont like communists, bother watching these vids and leaving your stupid comments that commies like me dont care about lol!!!!

  • AlJazeera = terrorists

  • He stopped Hitler AND ? he killed far more people by race and ethnicity then Hitler FUCK

  • @geru45gyik

you're just an uneducated fuck lol

  • @Scoutrussp7

    Said by a Russian LOL

  • Too bloody right he pulled out. I'm so sick of AmeriKKKA thinkin it has the God-given right to bully nations (so blasphemous) to get what it so blindly chases: money and power and when they don't conform, the US support terrorists or hunt them as they see fit.

    DEATH TO BABYLON

  • Stalingrad is a much cooler name that remindes us about how one man could make such a difference.

  • Stalin and Putin are the great men

  • @TheBalabek And so are Hitler and Barosso

  • this is so depressing

  • I am not Russian. But in my opinion about who were were heroes during WWII:

General Zhukov, the inventors of the tank T 34 and of course the Russian soldiers.

  • @petereuropa I am with on on Zhukov and also Rokosofsky at Kurst.

Neither USA or USSR could have defeated Germany alone. It was a team effort and USA sent many planes and trucks to USSR to help out.

  • @johnnecron And we must not forget that Stalin wanted half of the Polish territory. And Stalin wanted to have the whole "little" country of Finland. But the brave Finnish people together with their leader Marsalk Mannerheim defended their country in a brave way. They say that it was thanks to what Russia learned of the mistakes in the war with Finland, that totally changed the whole organisation of the Russian defence.

  • @johnnecron Zhukov did spend lives without a second thought, unlike Marshall, Monty and Eisenhower who, documents show, thought long and hard about casualties before adopting any strategy or tactical move. The loss of so many millions was not only the work off Hitler's armies.

  • Americans afraid Stalin even now.

  • @mikeplay007 American's are not afraid of stalin, not now, not ever, we just pity you guys in Russia, we wish you too could enjoy the fruits of freedom, ohh what it means to be able to speak freely and to have free will.

  • @TheLucjan Fuck Americans and your "American freedome" you Americans are slaves and want to inslave world, you never ever gonna understand "FREEDOME" I not gonna argue with you becouse you are brainwashed and I have no time to teach you reall history. Your fucking country killing "MILIARDS" under umbrela of "FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY" Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afganistan, Africa, Serbia and making heros of 650 000 trators executed under Stalin.

  • @mikeplay007 thats too bad, as we speak I am enjoying a backyard BBQ, we are having ribs, steaks, burgers, hot dogs, I am realy not mad at you,, just feel sorry for you is all.next week we are jumping on the plane to taste Spain's BBQ, can you do that? Maybe we can meet you there, ohh wait, you are under the armpit of communism, you get to eat cabbage :)_

  • @TheLucjan That's proves your primitiviti. BBQ I made yesterday, before yesterday and I my dog also eat some meat. Today I was in the restorant. North Koreans also can make BBQ, but if you call BBQ a "FREEDOME" You are pathetice, you born as a slave, gonna live as a slave and die as a slave, and even if slave feed it with BBQ, it's a SLAVE anyway, just good feed it slave.

  • @TheLucjan oh yeah hahahaha thats funny too right??? so what about the families who lost out do to the economic crisis right??? or all the homeless people or the people who had there homes taken by the bank lol your conversation is pointless lol

  • @Mr0982mmawarrior education is a bliss, I will gladly loose my house vs life of my family, please provide some evidence for your claims.

  • @TheLucjan Hahahaha well i will not honor you with your request , you continue to be a coward and a traitor to the mother land all you like !! but dude to be quite honest with you your not even close to being on the same page as me!!!

  • @mikeplay007 Fuck you and your country and your propaganda bullshit . Your word is nothing , my word is above all in the world . No country is free aslong as their is law and order . Your just mad because you come from a shitty country . If any day you think you are tough then lets meet up .

  • @crazyhorse1369 You talk like a twat, so you must be a twat.

  • @grandslam1998 You talk like a peice of shit who needs to shut the fuck up because we all know you can't back what your saying up .

  • @crazyhorse1369 What with a fight to the death? You want to take a good look at your sordid mind and unfuck yourself. A twat you are and a twat you will remain as long as you have a hole in your arse

  • @grandslam1998 Don't talk bout yourself like that you fuckin coward .

  • @crazyhorse1369 i belive thats YOU who cant back what she is saying.

  • @crazyhorse1369 typical of an american. they can "kick ass" but when it comes to a real fight, they chinken out.

  • @crazyhorse1369 typical of an american. they can "kick ass" but when it comes to a real fight, they chicken out.

Iraq, for example: what did the U.S. want there. a weap[ons threat?? haha my ass. im russian, arab and german. the arabs have nothing in weapons. i raq was a pussy's war to show the world that america "kicks ass", but now the world is laughing at you.

  • @TheKillerK15 You remind me of the inmates that were housed in the prison i worked at . You run your fuckin mouth and degrade everyone who don't agree with you because you are a lowlife chicken shit who talks big to cover up for your cowardace . Russians are the shit talkers who run from a fight . Not the USA .

  • @TheKillerK15 and when exactly have we chickened out of a fight? Please tell me.

  • @mikeplay007 i agree. you also forgot japan. the americans dont know bullshit. jews these days.......

  • @mikeplay007 That is the dumbest comment i ever heard .

  • shut up you sick asshole, your fucking USA is a looser, in all wars you shity military was runing home like bitches, Korea, Vietnam, in all mager wars you loss, you live in your own illusions, in reality you Americans are fucking lossers.

  • @mikeplay007 LMAO , we were winning nam and turned it over to south nam , they are the ones who lost . We kept north korea from taking over the south and that was our objective over there . You are the typical retard anti american with no facts , just propaganda .

  • @crazyhorse1369 dude. america is the #1 source for problems in the world.

  • @crazyhorse1369 your face is the dumbest comment iv ever heard.

  • The terror attacks with "suicide bombers" destroy our beautiful world.

  • What I mean is, that he killed every person that he didn't like. It has nothing to do with Nelson M.

That was an easy and cruel way to ruel. This was during the 20th century, and not during the dark ages.

Terror attack in Moscow. the 29th of March. R.I.P.

  • Just a stupid thinking: If Nelson Mandela had lived in Russia at the time when Stalin ruled and was against the regim, how many seconds had he been alive after put in jail?

I wonder why so many Stalin fans say that Russia had not developed well if Stalin and the Communists had not ruled? Of course a lot of good developement had changed Russia with good business with the west also without Communism! Now we are together, and Stalin is dead- no more fear.

  • Petereuropa, nelson mandela ws never anything but a tool by those who sought to destroy any country that could be truly independent in tropical africa.

"Democracy", in reality cronyism and plutocracy, destroyed south africa, turning it into an open sewer, only abolished white rule to replace it with black rule.

  • @petereuropa In fact shmuck Stalin was important in the American Civil Rights movement--I have the documents Nelson would have been fine

  • haha this is filthy and blatant propaganda they didnt even translate Russian speak properly and Putin ddint rename Volgagrad to Stalingrad .Eat this propaganda up western fools you deserve it.

  • even if they lost a lot of men they beat the Nazi bastards and beat japan and ended the war

i think without Russia Nazi would have taken over Russia and won the war

    Stalin changed Russia into superpower

    nuclear state as well

if the Russia revolution never happen Russia would have been poor backward country

  • Animal Farm.

  • Well there's this guy .......Dmitri Medjedev?

  • All the negative propaganda the haters tell you about stalin is false.I have researched this subject for over 30 minutes now and have reaced a lot of conclusions. For example the fact that he killed 40 milion people from the USSR, that is way exagerated. That means he killed over 600.000 per year, including when he was a baby and when he was a powerless old man. I mean have you ever seen a baby killing 600.000 people? I haven't, since a baby even if armed is weak and can be easly overcomed.

  • Perhaps more than 30 minutes of research is in order? 40 million is inflated, but the numbers are high. 4-7 million in the Holodomor, 500,000-2 mil in the great terror of 1937, and if you put Stalin at blame for the USSR's initial poor showing in WWII, you can pin another bunch of millions on him, as well as countless smaller famines and purges. He has millions of lives on his hands.

And he may have became an old man, but he was NEVER powerless.

  • It si not impossible to kill a lot of people in a short time...the russian civil car 1918-1920 cost some 20million people their lives,The rwanda genocide 1million in a couple of summer months.

Stalin was a genius when it comes to use and murder people, together with that other ugly ruler..Mao who killed somewhere between 50-100million chinese mainly through famine.

Killing a lot of people in a big, closed and popolous contry is no problem for a maniac who rules them.

  • I don't think he was any kind of "genius". USSR was not Europe. I had 2 Gulag survivors in my family. In remote regions labor camps there was very little security. Wanna escape - be my guest! There is 200 km to the nearest village and -40 degrees below. Also in many places they never bothered with burials of dead prisoners. Just kick the body out of the way and let wild animals to take care of it.

  • The number is at least 20 million. i personally believe its much higher as i have seen the russian calculation methods. You should do more research then 30 minutes, maybe 30 years before you got even some imagination how big even the number 20 million is and what kind of repressions and violations and what kind of shit the Red Army did. Compare... in II WW Soviet Union lost over43 million people... Red Army raped 2 million woman and children in Germany. RArmy was no holy thing.

  • @sakutume nobody gives a shit about the German women after what the barbaric German army did in Russia.

    Ps: Your numbers are lies.

  • @Cstrike211... i get your attitude. You just make excuses. The numbers i gave were calculated by russians and made public in russian newspapers... over 43 million lives. Now, try to calculate how many of them were killed by germans and how many by Soviet Union authorities. I bet the first number is much much smaller. Think about this also - germans lost 6-7 million soldiers, but they didn't just fight only with SU. Why lost SU so many?

  • Soviets union lost around 8million soldiers, the rest were civilians.

plus i want you to link me where you get your shit from.

  • well, as they say, one death is a tragedy, 20 million is a statistic, you can imagine one two, or even five, but you can never imagine 20 million, therefor, you can never comprehend it

  • sakutume, should your fairytales about Stalin be true, Hitler would have won and you and anyone else with too low intelligence would either not have been allowed to be born or lived as serfs to the Herrenvolk. :)

  • @Fridaey13txhOktober well the irony of the story is that Stalin would have lost if he would fight against germans 1:1. Germans had also other enemies... and Stalin killed all too high intelligence....

  • Huurrah za rodinu za Putina! Is tru ve haf great fearless leader, is like Stalin is live.

A nation of slaves deserves nothing else!

Perhaps, those who dream about the 'good ole'' times with the 'vozd' should remember that life was extremely short while serving this monster.

May he smoke in HELL forever with his buddy the devil!

  • the russian people diserve their leaders

  • @burko890 Putin is not like Stalin except that he accepts Russians as they are. The Empress Alexandra Feodrovna put it very well, "Remember Nicky, Russia needs the whip." If Russians don't feel controlled and watched they just fritter away their time and the country will be in chaos. Accepting this reality--every country is different--Putin was able to put Russian back on her feet In their hearts the Russians know this and are grateful to him for it.

  • I feel nothing good to Stalin, but this tip is a senseless tricking. The memorial stone is dedicated to the soldiers died in Stalingrad battle. There was no Volgograd till 1961, and the old inscription was an absurd fact of COMMUNIST hypocrisy.

  • Old vet , be happy.Putin the bandit has established the dictatorship of the law .There will be Stalin and there will be Gulag,The nation of slaves doesn't deserve anything else

  • putin came first? lol

  • fuck russia

  • CCCP live forever

  • Nobody respects Stalin.

    Do not trust this video.

Stalin respect only in Georgia where he was born.

In Russia there are no monuments to Stalin.

  • you are a god damned liar they put one in moscow

  • @maximatort Yes, an unsung hero to America, for Stalin's purges against Russia's best and brightest including vital scientists and engineers. Thanks to Stalin for harassing, persecuting and murdering many of Russia's best and brightest, Russia was defeated in the space race and greatly robbed of Russian intellectuals. Thanks to Stalin for amputating Russia by killing many of her brightest and best sons, and thus reducing Russia's ability to be first to land a man on the moon.

  • @RussianPunch dude you speak this way about the Mother Land you are a traitor!!!

  • @Mr0982mmawarrior Stalin was a traitor by destroying many precious Russian people--especially very intelligent people who could have given Russia great victory over the Americans in the space race. Stalin was a murderous beast whose brutality and destruction of many Russian people will not be forgotten by true lovers of the Russian people.

  • @RussianPunch And yet, Stalin saved Russia!

  • @mc0558 If you think Stalin accomplished great things for Russia by paranoid purges against Russia's best and brightest, by causing the avoidable loss of millions of Russian soldiers, by ignoring intelligence warnings of the imminent German invasion, by keeping the Russia backward and ill-prepared for the German war machine after a non-aggression treaty with Germany, and by handicapping Russia's defense by overruling Russian expert generals, then is your blind faith in old Stalin propaganda.

  • @RussianPunch You obviously haven't read the range of my comments here about Stalin. Anyway: 1. A paranoid thinks he has enemies and doesn't; a stark realist knows who his enemies are and takes care of them. 2. The USSR was a mess in the early 30'; do you think there weren't lots of people who said Stalin is at fault--get rid of him 3. Stalin used a system that Lenin and the rest of them had established.

  • @RussianPunch continued: 7. Even though Hitler attacked earlier than foreseen, Stalin was prepared. Although there were early disasters, the total defeat of his Winter offensive on Moscow in Dec. '41 is the beginning of Hitler's end. 8. Stalin built new industrial cities in western Siberian out of the range of Hitler's bombers, that produced the brilliant T-34 tank, the best tank of WWII--beautifully designed and easy to make in quantity--awa rockets and fighter aircraft that beat Hitler's best.

  • @mc0558 As the great Georgian murderous beast, Stalin built nothing; but he did destroy enough of Russia's best and brightest to enable America to quickly pass and defeat Russia in the space race. In one sense, Stalin did America and the West a big favor by setting out the murder of enough bright Russians who could have empowered Russia to give a much better challenge to America and the West for world supremacy. Only worthless Russians defend Stalin the great Georgian killer of Russians.

  • @RussianPunch Yes, well that is one view of what Stalin accomplished. I think it is a very limited one. I would argue that Stalin was crucial to the USSR's staying together politically during the crushing defeats of 1941 and to her coming back in 1942 to win the war, no only for herself but for the United States and Britain too. The glorious Red Army, Red Air Force and Red Navy took on 84% of the Wehrmacht's and Luftwaffe's strength and beat them.

  • @RussianPunch Carrying on: 4. The Bolsheviks as a whole were terrorists. 5. Stalin forced Russia to advance a century in 8 years. 6. Do you think Bukharin, et. al. and the officer class of the 30's were the best and the brightest? Under Stalin the best and the brightest were identified early and given every opportunity to advance in their careers. Stalin was no fool!

  • @RussianPunch continued: 9. Most important, Stalin held the USSR together politically. Russia only lost WWI because it fell apart politically under the strain of constant carnage. Hitler's war machine would have knocked a lesser Russian govt to smitherines 10 You description of Stalin's relations with his general does not agree with what they say--that he listened and followed professional advice! And they, like Zhukov, wrote after Stalin's death and had no reason to lie about it.

  • @RussianPunch Regarding Stalin's mental state, you describe him as paranoid. I dt think he murdered anyone without reason, but his reasoning was more cautionary and long term than most people's. E.g., Katyn, an act of revenge (for 1919-21 Polish War) AND far-sighted: of what use wd Polish shlachta types be to a socialist Poland? I cd cite many such scenarios. The effect of alcoholism is also discernible.

  • LOST the space race? All the americans did was get a man on the moon they failed epically

  • @TheGermanItalianGuy2 Apparently, English is not your native language. I alluded, in fact, to Russia's loss in the space race, thanks to Stalin's help in purging Russia of its best and brightest. In fact, the few like Sergey Korolyov lucky enough to be released from Stalin's Gulag still incurred grave injury to health from the malnutrition and physical abuse, and premature death was part of the price of once being a prisoner at the Gulag.

  • Um,no i live in the United States i am an American but like Russia a lot

  • @maximatort I understand why you say this and it is terribly sad that Russians are like this. The defector Petrov put it very well in his 1954 book about Stalin's Russia, "The Empire of Fear".

  • @maximatort Yes, Stalin was a great hero--especially for those who think the more Russians eliminated the better, and especially for those who think that the only good Russian is a dead Russian. Those perverted, mentally deranged, and ignorant Russians who defend Stalin in any way whatsoever are a blight to Russia and should be driven out of Russia because they are precisely the kind of people that allowed a mass murderer like Stalin attain power to devastate Russia.

  • @RussianPunch

Hey. I live in Russia. You live in Canada.

    Stalin - a hero.

Read a couple of books about history, but not western crap propaganda books.

A real Russian books about russian hisory.

  • @maximatort I said Stalin was a hero too -- for us Westerners who are Russian haters and appreciate Stalin's efforts that eliminated threats to our superiority over you Russians. Stalin did a good job of getting rid of a lot of you worthless Russians, who could have empowered Russia to dominate over us Westerners in space technology and many other scientific disciplines. Thanks to Stalin, America kicked your ass in the space race, and Russia ultimately failed to acquire industrial efficiency.

  • @maximatort So what do you say to Americans that love what the Georgian Beast Stalin did to the Russian and Ukrainian people? What do you say to Americans that are glad that Stalin eliminated potential Russian threats to American supremacy over Russia in all spheres technology? What do you say to Americans who laugh at Russian people like you who adore the most savage brute of a dictator in Russian history?

  • russia is number 1 and fuck yourself

    knifeForMoskovians FUCK ISLAM and aljazeera

  • STALIN A GREAT ASSASSIN

  • its totally correct: Russia the ''evil empire''!

  • are you saying that God condones murder?

  • oh my god it says stalingrad on the memorial stone - i have never seen worse attempts at propaganda from the western media

  • you should try looking a little harder.

  • They simply corrected the hypocrisy of Khrushchev. There was no 'Volgograd battle', but Stalingrad one. So the stone should be inscripted 'Stalingrad'. So what does all the speech mean? It's a pure nonsense.

  • fought back the germans...

  • Long live the memorie of Stalin. My russian brothers and sisters, do not be ashamed of your past. Be proud of yourselves and what you and your ancestors accomplished. History can not be changed. Stalingrad fought back the russians, Stalingrad is the right name on that plaque.

  • what about mass murdering?

  • Stalin was a Georgian, not Russian.

  • @morgoth195 Yes he was and a Russian bandit-terrorist too. Stalin didn't go to Russia until his late 30's, and if you want to understand him, you must always remember that.

  • comrade stalin is responsible in large part for: -execution of priests and dissidents -execution of army corps command -ethnic cleansing and deportation -the purge and show-trials of the 30's -the death of millions of ukrainians and volga-region russians -the death of thousands of kazakhs -the death of thousands of finns -the death and suffering of all the russians sent to camps like kolyma -mass execution at katyn -the suppression of art and poetry ... i tak dale...
  • @slickrickdarula No matter what Russia's problems are, I agree with this! The will to improve comes from being proud of who and what you are. Long live Russia!

  • Classical issues. They have nothing to do, so they do War.

  • Idiots!!! Stalingrad-Volgograd, also as Leningrad-St.-Petersburg or Kuibyshev-Samara!

  • Stupid Americans. The monument is namned Stalingrad because Volgograd carried that name under the rule of the Soviet union.

The United States should look to thier own golf-club democrasy before beating down on them Russians.

  • it's al jazeera and all of the announcers are british so why are you blaming americans? is osama your butt buddy or something?

  • Stalingrad was named to Volgograd in 1961. But the inscription 'Volgograd' on the stone is senseless. There was no Volgograd battle, but the Stalingrad one.

  • @Domety That is true. But the glory of Stalingrad bears the name of Stalin, and Stalin was awful. There is more to being a great man than being successful in battle.

  • The Cheka, NKVD, NKGB and KGB are all successions of the same secret police. As for your history of anti and for leaders of the secret police.. I do not know. That's a pretty blunt statement. As for Putin being a member of the NKVD your wrong..the KGB was formed in 1954 and lasted until 1991..thus under this time frame, Putin falls as a member of the KGB, not the predecessor..the NKVD. As for who made the NKVD, you would have to look at who made the Cheka and study the evolution into the KGB.

  • Chekas - it was prorevolution orgonization

  • putin was a member of NKVD a secret police made by stalin.

  • @xmuneebx No! Putin is too young for the NKVD. He was a member of the KGB, The Committee of State Security.

  • It's very interesting to be able to comment here. I write from the U.S.A, where of course most of us have from school to TV to movies been taught that the U.S. saved the world in WW II. Few of us know that the most decisive battles were won by what was then the greatest military force in the world; The Red Army. Most of us think Stalin was a horror. We mouth charges against him of genocidal crimes against humanity refusing to recognize his and the Soviet people's accomplishments.

  • for homland for stalin

  • yes it is a well known fact Vladimir Putin is inspired by Stalin
