Don't get me wrong -- endangered species, environmental protection, top priorities and anything else would definitely be unethical. Hypothetical only: I thought that these would be a great seller in pet shops. I thought that I would love to have one of these in my shirt pocket. Every now and then the cute little critter would pop up and play with my beard and make a little squeak or two. Then go back and eat some more of the peanuts that are in my shirt pocket. Yes, what a wonderful little pet!
Having many Dumbo eared rats I just love seeing the discovvery of these cuties. I wonder how they would be in captivity for pets with taming. I volanteer! lol

interesting, I just get burned out when it comes to debating the issue. If you want to believe such foolishness then thats your problem, Its not worth the gamble. My theory has been around for thousands of years while yours have only been around just over 100 years, and still has a long way to go for it to ever become a solid fact.
Chris: I don't think you have a very strong understanding of science.
It's evidence and the ability to incorporate facts and date, not age, which makes a theory robust. Evolution is one of the most robust scientific theories ever.
Also, a theory does not ever "graduate" to a fact. Theories explain facts.
Lastly, creationism is not a "theory" in the scientific sense.
Is it wrong to want one of these? Who is my little bit of Darwinist evidence? you are! yes you!!

My, what great faith you have in that theory.
chris7777777777777 4 years ago
Do need faith with facts.
peachey1 4 years ago
Give me one good fact, Id like to see one.
chris7777777777777 4 years ago
Fact: Major life forms of today were not represented in the past. (No birds or mammals 250 million yrs ago)
Fact: Major life forms of the past no longer exist (Dinosaurs)
Fact: All present life forms come from previous life forms. (DNA, why would we share DNA with a fish?)
Fact: Micro Evolution has been proven.

hmm... weren't sharks alive back when the dinosaurs were?

Chris, it's your right to deny the theory of evolution. But it's our right to think you're a ignoramus for doing so. Good luck.

Great series of wacky scientific news stories.
You should do a spoof one though 'Zombie cockroaches revived by brain shot' would take a lot of beating!
