@mustwinder LOL! I Agree...he looks like a grown ass man...and I am glad he got jumped in the end. THis episode kinda reminds me of a Little House episode from years back when these three brothers called the Gallengers came to town trying to take advantage of people and the youngest brother was still in school and bullying people. In the end, Mary socked him with her lunch pail and the school kids jumped him. It was a great episode...it is called "the bully boys"!
@candlelight482 Yeah, I think Eliza Jane was really intimidated by Bart. But, notice at one point when she decided to leave Walnut Grove, she stood up to him by calling his father a wealthy fool. He was truly embarrassed about that and he shut up. I think had she put him in his place more often he would have stopped running over her and stopped disrupting the class.
Bart looks like a himbo... He probably wanted to hang around the farm so he could lick off the workers' sweat. He seems to like playing around with his mouth!
Rev. Sabine Baring-Gould DID publish a book about werewolves in 1865, but the title was "The Book of Were-Wolves," not "Werewolf." Like Miss Wilder said, he wrote "Onward Christian Soldiers." The music to "Onward Christian Soldiers" was composed by Sir Arthur Sullivan (as in Gilbert & Sullivan).
Thanx for offering, but I prefer to communicate, here, on Youtube.. The reason being is b/c of safety concerns. I hope there is no hard feelings. And I hope you will continue to enjoy LHOP on my channel. : )
Michael Landon and Co took a lot of liberties with the stories of this show...but if you read Little Hose Books and Read the biographies, Laura Ingalls Wilder took her own liberties as well. She combined several of Almanzo's siblings as one character, Carrie wasn't even born yet when they moved to kansas and Jack was left behind in Wisconsin...
hey this has nothing to do with this episode but caould you post "Bless all the dear children" i think that is what it is called its about a lady kipnaping rose. if you could please and thank you.

Yes, I have seem the epi. However, I do not really remember what took place.
Emotional2000 4 years ago
I meant more that the boy was meaner than Bart Slater. He gave Mary a black eye.

Yes, the Bully wasn't very nice to his fellow classmates... He needed a good chastising!

He also needed a good spanking as well. But I guess he was too old and too big for a spanking.
