Sibelius 6 - What's New in Sibelius 6

What about the Hi-hats? I have Sibelius 6 but I cannot play all my compositions because the hi-hat doesn't work. Sibelius used to be the best because it was a software for musician, but now it is a sotware for cientist. I lost all my compositions that have drum set. I'm frausted with that, I prefer the Sibelius 2.

loving this, still love taking my manuscript to bed along with my edirol, yet this is going to make composition and arrangement as easy as typing a letter, And audio score sounds like its going to save me 7years of previous back catalogue score ideas, you know the ones when you wake up at 3am with an entire symphony in your dream and just moan the different parts in tune including the directions to yourself of when to transpose an octave etc. :)

I'm using Sibelius 6 now and compared to the previous Sibelius such as Sib 5 and below, Sib 6 is way much better. The sound is much better too and upgraded.. However, i still doesn't know how to use this stuff in total. I haven't really explore Sib 6.. lol

When you press a key on external midi keyboard it will notate its position, but will it notate its length?!

@whez08 Depends on how you notate. You can press the record button, play with metronome and then it will notate everything (inc. lenght). If you don't press the record button, you have to select the length of your note in the keypad-window

I'm curious (not that I would ever doubt it, with the quality of this program). But if I got this would I have the capability of writing out polyrhythms, I've always found this to be a problem with other notation software I've used in the past.
