How did you make the morphs? and what does it take to do it?

@Girard1020 See my video "IMN FX" for an overview of the digital effects work. I used RE:Vision's RE:flex plugin in After Effects for the morphing, although other plugins are available from Boris. And there are cheaper warp/morph applications, like Morpheus Photo Animation Suite. Get creative.

@italianman1992 Mike and Mrs. Teevee were manually rotoscoped so that the Inventing Room background could be inserted behind them. The foreground foam of the Wonkawash was "automatically" matted with a luminance extraction, as shown in one of my other videos, "IMN FX."

I hope the video was not too disturbing for you. The bit about Violet exploding was not in the book, and Dahl fans have debated the comment in the movie. I made the video as a special FX exercise; nothing is more challenging than retro-fitting an effect into a scene that was not shot for the purpose. The Teevees being glooped in the Wonkamobile was meant as comedy relief. If you're a Nickerson fan, some of her movies are available on video, like SMILE (DVD) and ZERO TO SIXTY (used VHS).
