After Baldurs Gate series The Witcher is the best...but nothing can beat Baldurs Gate 1 or 2. I recently reinstalled Baldur 2 and todays games still suck compared to it...but, damn, need to play The Witcher through one more time too. Cant wait for The Witcher 2 to come out.

There was talk about BG3 a long time ago and the companys officially said that it is i ndevelopement, but it was so logn time ago. And as Dragon Age was supposed to be a "successor" for BG series then i highly doubt now that there will be any more BG games...i would like it though...but yeah, ATARI has BG license so we have to count on them.

u cant really mess with the character. u can buy like maybe a couple of armor sets for him and there isnt that much weapons. theres the mace, axe, sword, and theres the silver sword. and maybe a little bit more. but for some reason it isnt too bad for me, even for someone whos also playing oblivion which has a lot more stuff. to me, i find the story much more personal and interesting that it outweighs the lack of customization. And the leveling system is cool.
without question you should have the Witcher as part of your RPG collection. The Witcher Enhanced version is simpy one of the best rpgs out there. As far as customizing you character, there are many different stats you can change to build your character throughout the game, however, there really isnt much to change how your character looks. Dont let that chgange your mind about this game. The Witcher is a 1st class well design game with great graphics and a very deep story line/plot.

Why won't this piece of shit game install? First time it got to about 49% then froze. Then it proceeded to very effectively trash auto - play on all my games. Restarted, a/play worked on all other games apart from this one. I managed to get it to start installation thru computer>disc i?witcher>autoplay(macrovision, wat in the blue hell is this?) then i rite click go to install and it still freezes during installation. Fucking piece load of bollocks if u ask me. Nevr buying another PC game.
i had the same problems when i first loaded it up last week. i bought the enhanced version. Its woking for me now, and it is a very good game. try cleaning it really good. If that doesnt work, then try taking it back to the store. Ive read that a high percentage of CD copies were on bad

sure you can level up! There are 3 styles of combat that you can keep imroving on, plus a type of "Witcher magic." There are lots of ways to improve your character. Buy the game, you won't be dissapointed. Make sure its the Enhanced version though. White Wolf is dueto come out this September, so now is the perfect time to play Witcher and get caught up in this world.
id say go with the Witcher enhanced version. But just dont take my word, read some reviews. Wither is a better game, has a deeper storyline, game mechanics, and is overall a better game. Gothic 3 has a bigger game world, but again the Witcher is a better, higher quality and polished game compared to Gothic 3.

i finished this game in a week.. it has a great story - sword slashing, comedy, romance, alcoholism, politics.. the people around you are like "omg.. it's a witcher", you're like a celebrity.. the women like you pretty much, you can choose to have affairs with multiple women.. if you want some time off of guns, you should play this game..
Notice how there is NO fighting in this video. They left fighting out because fighting sucks nutsacks in this game. If you want a game where you go around and hack the crap out of stuff, that old game 'rune' is 10x better than this
the game sucks nuts. You cant move while hitting, monster attacks dont coincide with their attack animations so you cant dodge intelligently, all the level ups are like +X% damage or dodge which is reallllllllllllllllly boring. Loading/saving/ going to new areas takes 30 seconds on decent computers. Terriblayyyyyyyyy
a good pc is always better than an x360, jewboxes go at 10-15 fps when there are fires and explosions, as good as my laptop lol. A mouse is how u should play this game, it was made for chaining accurately, and on hard difficulty it's awesome. No more flaming mouse, you chain depending on your reflexes. :)
how much does it cost to get a good pc? i wanted this game bad but i opted for a laptop rather than desktop (several months before this came out) and it came just too short when i played it but next year i'm gonna buy a desktop as the laptop is failing which isn't good for uni studies
Seeing you have uni studies I'd suggest you to not game lol xD But a decent gaming rig that allows you to play the game at a stabel 50fps with med/high settings including monitor and all would cost you approximately $900. If you can be economic and recycle speakers, audio card etc from older computers you may have and don't want to keep using it would always lower the price. But I suggest you get wise and burn up a good $1500 to get a good rig once and for all... (as in for 2-3 yrs lol)

You can have a FPSRPG, much like a MMORPG or even an FPSMMORPG...
Oblivion is not considered an FPS, instead it is classed as a RPG for obvious reasons. It can also be played in third person as well.

i had the same problems when i first loaded it up last week. i bought the enhanced version. Its woking for me now, and it is a very good game. try cleaning it really good. If that doesnt work, then try taking it back to the store. Ive read that a high percentage of CD copies were on bad

i hpe you get it working, because it is a really good game. Ive been playing it nearly non stop for the past few days. Try cleaning it, or copying everything to the HD then install from there. Check the forums, like i said, I had the same problem. ver frustrating, but worth it. Itrs an awsome game!

yeah same thing happened with mates copy of call of duty 4, he had to copy everything to HD then install from there because of something to do with the drive and CD conflict. Looking to buy witcher, can you level up in this game?

sure you can level up! There are 3 styles of combat that you can keep imroving on, plus a type of "Witcher magic." There are lots of ways to improve your character. Buy the game, you won't be dissapointed. Make sure its the Enhanced version though. White Wolf is dueto come out this September, so now is the perfect time to play Witcher and get caught up in this world.

id say go with the Witcher enhanced version. But just dont take my word, read some reviews. Wither is a better game, has a deeper storyline, game mechanics, and is overall a better game. Gothic 3 has a bigger game world, but again the Witcher is a better, higher quality and polished game compared to Gothic 3.

i finished this game in a week.. it has a great story - sword slashing, comedy, romance, alcoholism, politics.. the people around you are like "omg.. it's a witcher", you're like a celebrity.. the women like you pretty much, you can choose to have affairs with multiple women.. if you want some time off of guns, you should play this game..

Notice how there is NO fighting in this video. They left fighting out because fighting sucks nutsacks in this game. If you want a game where you go around and hack the crap out of stuff, that old game 'rune' is 10x better than this

the game sucks nuts. You cant move while hitting, monster attacks dont coincide with their attack animations so you cant dodge intelligently, all the level ups are like +X% damage or dodge which is reallllllllllllllllly boring. Loading/saving/ going to new areas takes 30 seconds on decent computers. Terriblayyyyyyyyy

a good pc is always better than an x360, jewboxes go at 10-15 fps when there are fires and explosions, as good as my laptop lol. A mouse is how u should play this game, it was made for chaining accurately, and on hard difficulty it's awesome. No more flaming mouse, you chain depending on your reflexes. :)

how much does it cost to get a good pc? i wanted this game bad but i opted for a laptop rather than desktop (several months before this came out) and it came just too short when i played it but next year i'm gonna buy a desktop as the laptop is failing which isn't good for uni studies

Seeing you have uni studies I'd suggest you to not game lol xD But a decent gaming rig that allows you to play the game at a stabel 50fps with med/high settings including monitor and all would cost you approximately $900. If you can be economic and recycle speakers, audio card etc from older computers you may have and don't want to keep using it would always lower the price. But I suggest you get wise and burn up a good $1500 to get a good rig once and for all... (as in for 2-3 yrs lol)

I like this game alot i played the demo from fileplanet and i might get the real thing. America is a nation in the continent of north america. The country U.S.A itself is NOT a continent. Some people need to learn their geography. Canada is bigger than the United States by a large margin.. so does that make Canada a continent in itself ?? NO ! its still a nation inside a continent.
