haha the boy is smarter than the reporter, it is martyrdom is he dies whilst removing the clusters, its a service to the greater community thus he would be a martyr if he dies.
Perhaps if the Lebonese stop allowing there villages to be refuge for Hezbollah terrorist, to launch attacks against Israel, they might not have cluster bombs dropped in there villages. Blame Hezbollah not Israel. Stop being playing victims because of your own actions.
collectively punishing a population for the actions of resistance is something Hitler used to do. should the whole of the US be carpeted with cluster bombs because of the actions of Bush?
First of all Hezbollah is not a "resistance group" it is a terrorist organization. It attacks, and then runs and hides behind woman and children for the exact purpose of making "victims" out of collaborators.
As for "collectively punishing a population", again you place these people in the victim role. When you allow your village or property to be used to launch attacks you lose the right to cry innocence.
Hezbollah was established to fight the Israali occupation of South Lebanon, making it a resistance organisation. This is pretty indisputable. Terroist implies targetting civilians, by this standard Israel is a far more efficient terroist entity than Hezbollah, they oppress both Gaza and the West Bank.
So to answer your question is; yes, if I have known terrorists living in my neighborhood, I have two choices. I can report them to whom ever it is they are terrorizing or if I agree with their cause I can choose to allow them to operate unobstructed. If I choose the latter and I am damaged by the retaliation from who ever it is, I allowed to be attacked. I would have no one to blame but myself and the decisions I made.
I put the blame for the cluster bombs; on the people who allowed there village to be a staging point for Hezbollah, attacks on Israel. Its too bad they don't have enough backbone to admit they supported the attacks. I am sure if Israel had been wiped off the face of the planet, they would be dancing in the streets bragging about how they stood up against them. But because it didn't go that way, they will just continue to cry, "oh poor me, we are just innocent victims."
Have you ever noticed you never see a Israeli soldier complete a attack, run away, change out of his uniform into civilian clothing, and hide in some woman's home pretending he is not a soldier? Have you ever noticed Israel doesn't hide cache's of weapons in schools and synagogues?
The bottom line is these people were not innocent bystanders they were passive participants. They made choices and need to take responsibility for those choices. If I put my family in harms way, and something happens to them, it is my fault for putting them in harms way.
Regardless of whether you call Hezbollah a terrorist group or a resistance movement it does not absolve the villagers of complicity. They allowed their towns to be used by Hezbollah then portray themselves as innocent victims. You can distract any argument by pointing out other perceived injustices.
Where in the video was there any mention of suicide bombings? My comment is about the people in the village needing to bear "their" responsibility for the presence cluster bombs. You seem to have trouble staying focused about the topic we are discussing. Suicide bombings in Israel would be something, I would discuss in a forum related to that topic. The point of this video is to portray the villagers as victims. I disagree.
You imply it is ok to target civilians, although under international law this is terroism. If you will not condem the cluster bombing of civilians in Lebanon you can not condem the sucide bombings in tel aviv etc which kill Israeli civilians. This is my point.
If a "popular resistance movement" won't act like a conventional army, by using methods which makes them indistinguishable from civilians, they are violating international law. If civilians are allowing their village to be used by unconventional army's then they are no longer civilians, they are participants. Or Hezbollah is forcing them to comply, to which Hezbollah bears the responsibility. And again you try to distract with comments about suicide bombings.
The civilian population tried to flee southern lebanon during the summer war, do you remember this? Even if they wanted to how could civilians stop armed men using their village? There is no justification for targeting civilians (regardless if they support the resistance) and Israel has committed War crimes. Sucide bombing is an example of complicit Israeli civilians being attacked, if you see nothing wrong with Lebanesse civilians being targeted you should see nothing wrong with the reverse.
If Hezbollah militants armed with weapons forcibly took over villages (your words not mine) then the villagers, who tried to flee or fled only to return to cluster bombs in there villages, are truly victims. Victims of Hezbollah!
Why do you continue to be focused on justifying suicide bombings in Israel? There is nothing in this video even remotely mentioning suicide bombings. It seems to be a distraction technique you use when you're having trouble making logical conclusions.
If I come into your house and run you out or take you hostage and use your house to shoot at your neighbors. The police come and while arresting me they break down your door and smash out windows and shoot holes through the walls. Who are you a victim of me or the police?
As for your focus on suicide bombings in Israel, I wonder, are you in some kind of a suicide bomber training camp? Are you trying to find some justification for some future act you are thinking of committing?
You say I am distracting from the point, you have somehow brought my house into this and accussed me of being a terroist. You are somehow trying to justify attacking civilians which is impossible, especially when it means you should be indifferent to aggression towards Israeli civilians.Israel do not have the moral high ground, they are the ones holding Gaza and the West Bank and 1000s of Lebanesse hostage, using in your example the Lebanesse see Hezbollah as the Police and Israel as the criminals.
I never implied that the people of S lebanon dispise Hezbollah. Hezbollah is the reason for the liberation of South Lebanon from the illegal 20 year occupation so are supported, but an individual who doesnt like them wont be able to do much about it. The civilian population largely fled because Israel was bombing them. Are Israelis the victims of Israel if they get hit by rockets?? or victims of Hezbollah?
i dont get it why arab's are keep crying to the other world why cant you do something look isreal is only one small country and look other arab countries are around them. you people need to take action not crying only crying day and night....
Israel is not a single small country. Its zionists have hijacked the economis, politics and media of the worlds most powerful nations, in the service of israel.
Only a simpleton can believe that this little country, of natural resources, can manage to be so powerful.
Well, Zionist terror spares no one. Not even animals. These clusters will kill and keep on killing. And to top it all, what annoys me further is the sight of 'analysts' on American mainstream news channels wondering why people in the Middle East hate them so much. And then they come up with answers like, "Oh, they hate us because we have women in the workplace". God help us!
The answer is very simple, unfortunately. USA and friends use them, and they are the one's who decide what is terrorism. For example in the US animal rights activists evacuate all humans and animals places where illegal animal experiments take place. Then blow the pace up, harming only buildings. They are considered as terrirists.
Well, Zionist terror spares no one. These clusters will kill and keep on killing. What boils me further is the sight of 'analysts' on mainstream American News channels wondering why people in the Middle East hate American foreign policy.
And who says that US manufacturing is a thing of the past? Clusterbombs: proudly made in the USA!
Our deferred tax dollars at work, too. This is why they hate us, fols, not for our freedoms but for how freely we pick and choose which rules we choose to follow.
According to a documentary I saw France is 700 years away from clearing unexploded ordinance. These weapons are reportedly very old weapons given to Israel with a very high failure rate. There was no excuse for dropping these in civilian areas and they should be banned.
