    I have a similar problem. I have a champion forge and blower and the "grill" was all rotted out and had to be removed. However, the bolts that held on the blowers piping were connected to the grill and they broke off from both ends into the firepot...

    Now what im thinking of doing is buying a "cast iron floor drain" from amazon for 10$ and weld bolts on both sides to attach piping and floor drain.

    whada u think?

  • @Jack1knife sounds like it might work just use all stainless steel hardware, it won't burn or rot to fast when it goes through heat cycles it's better than iron for corrosion, other than that I would need to see the problem in order to give better advise. good luck....
