  • Not at all! Best dancers are egyptians! Americans do things so robotically... i hate choreographies. Egyptians, lebanese and turkish dance to the rhythm.. they feel the music ;) Try looking up Dina or Fifi Abdou... they're far better than americans

  • i am unfortunately american. I have had a love of belly dance ever since i saw an Arabic show. The dancer's you mentioned are two of the best. I do agree that when they teach here in america they do not teach to dance by rhythm. But if you are respectful of the art you will learn it correctly. There are materials out there to teach it! People just have to really "LOVE IT"!!

  • I think the way they teach is bad. I like Sadie she's very talented. But what I hate is when they focus too much on showing off isolations and muscle control the whole beauty of bellydancing goes out the window. I seen girls dance and they simply throw in every move they know and don't follow rhythm. I agree with you :) People just have to really love it and pull it together.

  • i hate americans because they think theyre the creators of everything and the owners of everythins...it's comments like yours that piss the world off..fuck america.

  • Isn't this song from Enchanted Egypt?

  • I like it.

  • yes the citadel is in Cairo, yes Hossam is from Egypt, no the song is not from 'Eternal Egypt' but it is from 'Immortal Egypt'

nice to see such deep debate going on here !

  • Would people call the Egyptian embassy and ask whether the name Hossam Ramzy is an Egyptian name? They should ask whether there is a famous artist from Egypt of that name? Then call the local bookstore and ask that the name be looked up and it be determined what nation Mr. Ramzy is from?Kurdish people are known for Egyptian music since when? The Kurds want independence from Turkey, Iraq and Iran that is all they want. They are also involved in a lot of terrorism to that end.

  • yes egyptian, ahmed ramzy is the famous actor...

  • Read Hossam Ramzy's biography, it says that he was born in Cairo Egypt, so its got nothing to do with other nationalities....

  • Yes Egyptian, obviosly since the citadel is in Cairo & Hossam Ramzy being Egyptian & the album's titled "Eternal Egypt"!!!

  • great music

  • ummm, not turkish... egyptian?

  • who cares what he is.....he creates music therefore god bless him.

  • yeah, except that i cared or i wouldn't have asked. and other people care or they wouldn't print bios that include origin of birth. people are naturally curious, no harm in asking. a person's origin and/or upbringing can bring insight to how they came by their style of expression. do you disagree?

  • There is a MAJOR difference between TURKEY and EGYPt HELLLLLLLLLLLLOOO!!

  • quite the observationist, aren't you doesntmatter20? so tell me, oh all knowing one, what on earth made you think i was comparing the two countries? i was simply wondering about Ramzy's place of birth. HELLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOO!!!!!! geez....

  • Americans...

  • americans are what? did they do something to you? lol... or do you WANT them to do something to you? what does ramzy have to do with the americans? and why would you reply something like " Americans..." to me? or just skip all of that and tell me what's up with the nasty, sarcastic attitude towards me?

  • isn't ramzy turkish?

  • i love arabian music!!!!!العبية !!!

  • Sounds great!
