  • Peter Pumpkin Head >> It's Tim Smith & Eric Dover >> ; )

  • Is that Chris Manning on the bass? I know it's not Falkner on guitar...

  • Man, this is absurd.

  • What a great band, such good music, such witty lyrics. Few bands can play such elaborate music so well live

  • Your so right guys. I was lucky enough to be introduced to them by a fellow band member of mine just before their 2nd album came out and was hooked straight away. I was also lucky enough to see them at the Astoria in London, (I still have the ticket somewhere) and can remember the great vocal harmonies and what a superb sound they had. Very much missed.

  • Sorry about my posting name. Just picked something yesterday. I'll change it. By the way, AllllllRighty Then, please tell me what you know about vocals, because "week" is one of the last descriptions(spelled incorrectly, or not) I would ever expect to hear used about Jellyfish vocals. Then again, Hitler had a "Fan Club".

  • Oh Fuck! So miss these guys. Wish Andy wasn't such a xenophobe. Now, if I can just figure how to go back in time and kill Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

  • Sturmer is one of my idols. And these guys are Brilliant Pop Music writers. That said, their singing was week. Not that they are bad singers . . just nothing that Jumps out and GRABS you. That's where Puffy AmiYumi comes in. Those Chicks ROCK Sturmer's Brilliant writing!Ami and Yumi gave these guys . . well, Sturmer . . the MEGA Fame they never had with ordinary singers. A Brilliant move by Sturmer. He's MEGA rich now too!And he's sippin' Sake in an Onsen with a Hot Geisha!!

  • BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE THEY EVER HAD!!! GOOOOOOOOOD!

  • This band was so much better than Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and the rest of that shitty grunge crap.

  • one of the greatest bands I ever heard. I still listen daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was at this show. I remember as it the middle of summer and a beautiful day in San Francisco and it was home coming for Jellyfish. A piece of trivia - the opening act for this show was "Counting Crows" a few months before the release of their first album. I loved their first album, but what cemented it for me were the two shows they did to celebrate the release of Spilt Milk! One in San Jose and the other in SOMA. Amazing!!!

  • 3:09 is pure gold. (But so is the rest of this song)

  • Comment removed

  • Before this tour they talked about how they did singing practice 7 hours a day to gear up for the Spilt Milk Tour with all these harmonies...crazy! Lots of work but hear that payoff!

  • I caught the news Jellyfish broke up the day Kurt Cobain killed himself. Jellyfish was the greater loss for me. There are a million Nirvana clones. There is only one Jellyfish.

  • These guys need to come back... Come on already....

  • There has to be some way the fans can get these guys back together. They were incredibly awesome.

  • Holy water and Amens!

  • This song is so incredible! Thank You so much for posting these! I am so glad that I got to see them live! The were one of the BEST BANDS EVER!

  • Fuck these guys were/are good! Damn.

  • harmonies @ 1:12 are amazing...

  • @bhc777 By far the most impressive harmonies in this song are from 3:23 - 3:28. Those harmonies in that 5 second passage and really dense "barber shop quartet" type harmonies where there are sharps and flats being sung (notes close together on the musical scale). Those types of harmonies are really hard to sing because everyones pitch had to be right on for it to sound good. This is what set Jellyfish apart from other bands and gave them bragging rights! Very few bands can sing like this live.

  • @cooltheengines AGREE 100%!!!!!!!!!

  • @cooltheengines DITTO!!

  • Phenomenal.

  • No hyperbole--Jellyfish is one of THE ABSOLUTE BEST bands that ever was. This song is pop perfection, and there are very few bands that could have pulled this off live. The mere fact that I have this 20 year old CD in my car's player, and probably have listened to this song twice already today, yet still come home and listen to it on my computer, says it all. My god, guys. Get back together already!

  • @londoren You're right on the money. I still can't believe this band existed, and only heard about them years after they broke up. Song writing doesn't really get much better then this. At least they left us two albums.

  • Totally agree!!

  • @londoren - same here, exactly. Every day, several times, for 20yrs.

  • thanks so much for posting this!

  • wow another live one....great sound and footage...thank you!

  • absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
