  • this album is a spiritual experience.

  • Was front row centre for their gig at Splendour in the Grass. so good. sooo sooo good. thank you Midlake for being amazing. :)

  • greetings from Greece!

  • This is awesome (the Music. Not the retards who in 2010 still fight over the internet ^^)

  • And theres me thinking most modern music is dreadful!..this is one of the best songs ive heard in years.

  • @fertuiee music goes in cycles. every 13 years or so rock makes a huge comeback. last time was in 2003-2005. so look forward to 2016-2018 :P

  • One of the best albums I've heard in years.

It's so unfair for such a great band not to be huge.

  • @kyriakoshasapis their originality would soon be lost if they entered into the realms of mainstream success, it would ruin their niche through attempts to become more commercial. Thus their music feels raw and personal, midlake are truly grasping! :DD

  • @kyriakoshasapis Agree absolutely, but then the mainstream scene is quite closed these days, especially in England (you know, rap, R & B, X Factor 'stars' etc.).

  • I missed this show because of all the snow, but they are coming back to Chapel Hill in April. Thanks for posting, the Grey Eagle is definitely my favourite venue.

  • Tim Smith is looking like a stately bard these days... guess it fits their current medieval sound.

  • Oh this is so .... so touching .... I heard them yesterday in Cologne. A little bit as if Coldplay covers the re-written Soundtrack of The Last Unicorn, eh?

  • This is brilliant, going to see them on the 14th of Feb, I can't wait.
