In the 2nd test, the French referee Berdos should have given a red card to Burger for gouging Fitzgerald. If he had, Bakkies Botha would not have sent Alun Wyn-Jones off with a dislocated shoulder later in the game.

The Lions were lucky - the Boks missed 11 points worth of kicks. & they stood up to the Boks in the scrum, but couldn't keep up the pace for the full 80 & started breaking down.

It was a dirty test, but both sides were guilty (Sheridan - punch to Bekker's groin; BoD no arms tackle on Roussow etc). There was a lot of niggle. But that's not supprising - look at the Lions history with their "99 call"

if ur goin to say the lions were lucky in the 2nd test then we could say the boks were lucky in the 1st e.g when moyne jst missed out on scoring those 2 tries.the "99 call" was only devised by McBride beacause the boks were known to be notoriously dirty, it was more of a defense tactic.Saying all that the 2nd test was one of the best games of rugby ive ever seen, both sides played hard im not goin to make excuses for the loss even though its depressing
