To me, the Occupy Wall Street movement is about making the distribution of wealth more fair:
Bringing back the tax rates of the 90's (highest tax rate was 39%) as well as the Buffett rule that "everyone making over a million dollars a year pays a minimum effective tax rate of at least 30%.
-Making everyone who practices tax evasion be financially penalized.
-closing tax loopholes
-Nationalizing health care.
-Capping executive salaries at 500 times the salary of the company's lowest paid worker.
And whilst, all these people are fighting amongst themselves to become the top. The elite will be collecting everyone's pay and debt, watching you all struggle and suffer, while they soak themselves in a bath of money. But regardless of the starving countries out there, we all need a couple mill right? I mean you want to be secure in life. Even at the expense of another's starvation. I don't really have the time and words to sum up the disgust of this planet. I wish people would simply wake up.
To be honest, I don't care much for society, I care for the people. But what really runs this world?. War, terror? fear? corruption? We destroy the earth in hope to 1 day become a vain figure who inprints his/her name on this planet even though, they will die and most probably have no recollection of it, religious or not. @masterxak The Occupy movement has done a terrible job of stating even the most basic reason for protesting. Occupy Sacramento had to have a message team to come up with a reason for why they were there. If the movement can't even figure out what it is protesting, why does it even exist? I hope some of the protesters will realize that holding up signs and chanting won't accomplish anything.

What does it say about the movement that there would need to be some sort of vote to do things that normal responsible adults already do on their own? I'm a 26 year old, unemployed, uninsured female with several thousand in college debt. I'm helpful around the house to earn my keep & take care of my own health. This movement does not represent me. I don't want a bailout, I want to start my business. I want more jobs. I want the prices of college and medical care to go down. I want a stronger dollar. You don't hear this message...that's why I will never go to one of these events. Sadly, I don't have much doubt about your claims in this video.

Bringing back the tax rates of the 90's (highest tax rate was 39%) as well as the Buffett rule that "everyone making over a million dollars a year pays a minimum effective tax rate of at least 30%.
-Making everyone who practices tax evasion be financially penalized.
-closing tax loopholes
-Nationalizing health care.
-Capping executive salaries at 500 times the salary of the company's lowest paid worker.

Occupy Sacramento had to have a message team to come up with a reason for why they were there. If the movement can't even figure out what it is protesting, why does it even exist? I hope some of the protesters will realize that holding up signs and chanting won't accomplish anything.

There is plenty to be down on the OWS crowd about. There is no denying that. I've been torn from the start--This group has a sentiment that I agree with 100% but an approach to promoting the cause that I have difficulty getting on board with.

Matt I respect that you are showing the other side to the Occupy Movement but you should instead of just looking at "reports", go there yourself to see what is actually going on.I REALLY don't think it is as bad as you make it seem most of them really just want to see change.I myself am a business entrepreneur I run my own company and I find myself being a bit more discrete on these political movements. But the sad fact is that at EVERY location of these protests, there are clashes with police (ignoring LEGAL orders to disperse), vandalism, defecation on public property and just general disorderly conduct. The last time we saw this type of passion for current events was years ago. I am happy that at least this generation can experience the freedom to stand up for what you believe.
