Nine years ago our beautiful daughter Emma danced with her Daddy. Today would have been her 9th anniversary. She passed away suddenly October 17th 2009. I will always remember how her face glowed as her Daddy held her in his arms that night while they danced the Father/ Daughter dance.

one sad thing is my best friends dad was killed in a car accident just the onther day like that same day my dad was in the hospital but wow what a sad sad sad day i cry about it everyday........ i guess i am just a cry baby geeze!!! :) but i know that my friends dad is in a better place now!!!! :)

This song is about the wonderful relationship of a father to his daughter or can be parents to their children. A relationship that is bound with love and security until the time when the daughter is about to be wed. Such beautiful relationship is hard to let go, but the father has to let go of her daugther to the man whom his daughter marry. I LOVE this song, it ALWAYS makes me cry. I missed watching my daughter, Dianne, grow-up because her Mom and I couldn't seem to get along. She was 5 when we split-up. Trust me, weekends and Holidays are NOT enough! This November she'll make me a Grabdpa, I can't wait! I Love her so-o-o much, even a song can't describe it.

My dad died May 3, 2007. He was only 53. I miss him so much. This song reminds me of him, especially the second half when I got married; just a few years before he died. He was so proud of his grandsons. I cry all the time, yet am so happy he was alive to see me get married and know his grandkids but for a short time.
