  • @IustitiaPax Nowoczesne technologie w Krakowie? Niemcy? Kiedy i jak?

  • Ciekawa jestem z jakiego to programu pochodzi. Dla jakiej stacji TV był robiony.

  • I know everything about this.

  • it was actually about 10% of the population. The Commonwealth had more nobles and a greater proportion of the population than any other European nation.

For its time, it was astounding and there were ways to be born poor and degenerate yet end up a noble.

Ennoblement was at least, somewhat common and was possible if, for example, exemplary service on behalf of the Commonwealth (the State) was done.

Military victories, scientific achievements and such.

  • @FreedomLiberty21

Yes, it was 10% of the Polish population who were gentry, not just 2%. It's strange Norman Davies who is an expert on the Polish history, whose wife is Polish and he himself speaks Polish very well, could have made such a mistake!

  • Interesting video, thank you

  • Oh btw, Forgt to write that he is wrong about oe thing, 10% of the population was Szlachta (Noblemen).

  • I heard about it to. But know I am not sure on it.

  • Good you put this video on YT ^^
