Though I hear "Samurai" was picked up by Saban.

Yes, they did pick up Power Rangers Samurai. It's about time they came back. Disney shit all over the Ranger series. I haven't bothered to watch anything past MMPR. There was just no point in it. The series went down the toilet, and the shit hit the fan after Saban left. I'm glad they've come back though. A renewal of the MMPR series is WAY over due. Do us proud Saban.

My best friend insists that the Disney owned ones were better because of the special effects, and just can't wrap her mind around the fact that I love the original series for it's cheesy saturday morning feel.

@rabbitlove4ever: Saban sold the Power Rangers franchise to Disney halfway through Time Force, and Disney had it through RPM. Now, it's back to Saban, and they're just now releasing a new season called "Samurai".

ok so i lived for 16 years now and im not dead yet and all those years i hold the power rangers in my memory and they never got old and now the memory is takin me back in time back to the 90's to the power rangers and i remeber even more AND IM HAVIN SO MUCH FUN IN IT! i wonder if they;ll still be in my memory when i get in my 20's and older. i hope they'll stay in there. they better stay in there.

@1012Jackson i lived for 21 years and im not dead yet, i grew up on power rangers: collected bins of toys (the action figures, toy weapons, zords, teleporters, the action gloves that made noises when you swung them around etc...) i saw the movie in theatres...alot....i had nightmares cause of Lord Zedd nearly cried when Tommy returned as the White Ranger....so yeah the power rangers are unforgettable, and it would take some serious head trauma to remove them from memory.
