i wish they weren't going to tear the park down... i never went (i live in missouri) but its a sad sad day when a 6 flags is torn down. they should rebuild, fix it, do SOMETHING. :(

This ride all ways sacred the daylights out of me even if I was in I think 8 or 9grade. I never could get use to any type of ride's that scare me so easily. is huge scarred cat I'm now 24years old I was a teen when this park was still open. but it's really a sad site to see the old park like this.

I used to love that ride so much. I was horrified of it too. I went back to the park like 1 year after katrina to see the park again and it made me so sad. I spent so much time in that park.

A friend and I went in there about 3 months ago. It's one of the creepiest places I've ever seen, but it's awesome as hell. I love visiting abandoned places, especially dead malls and theme parks. If any of you ever get the chance, I'd suggest you pay a visit. I had more fun there that day than I did when it was open.

Im from great britain and in the few years we have lost some good theme parks. Like pleasureland, frontierland, camelot and american adventure, once all great themeparks now gone to the funfair in the sky.

Six Flags New Orleans sat in four feet of water for over two months.

The salt water has caused the destruction of the entire park.

Now the Six Flags Chain has filed for bankruptcy after stripping this place of the rides that did survive Katrina.

They only had a lease but managed to ship out everything that belonged to the people of New Orleans and Louisiana.

These guys are trying to work out a payment to get out of the lease and keep the stolen rides.
