As you know I am making a sonic fan film which as just been change to an animated fan series and it is no that good, it is just a bad version if sonic was made into a dark sc fi film, and if it does I am hoping it is directed by someone who knows what he or she is doing or we would just have another super mario bros movie.

I've written several screenplays on Deviantart to try and strike a balance between what made the show good and what could be done with the story :)

Hopefully this trailer implies the humor that could be in the story too...'That BLASTED hedgehog!'

I'd love to see things kick off with the construction of Metal Sonic. In fact, while listening to the Inception soundtrack I get the images very clearly. Robotnik goes downstairs to his lab/workshop and constructs with care Metalix while the credits roll. After the main titles we see Sonic rushing down a tunnel, going about his first mission of rebellion and we see the contrast between metal and living being.

This is a vision. Sega and Sonic Team both need to be strapped down and forced to watch this Clockwork Orange style. Fake fan trailers are outdoing game developers with millions of dollars at their disposal. As incredible as this video is, the implications are just as sad. But still, I just want to show this to everybody. It's just one of the best things I've seen in a long time.

Have you ever seen the series Sonic the Hedgehog? Jim Cummings, the guy who voices Robotnik in that one, is WAY scarier and raspier.

Jim Cummings DID voice him scarily,

though yours was more of a ghostly whisper. Cumming's voice was much more aggressive.

This looks really cool; I'm one of those fans that anticipates and fears a Sonic movie, especially after what happened to Mario. It would be cool, but it has to be done right.

It would probably center around the first battles between Sonic and Robotnik, as well as Sonic discovering the history between his own species (Mobians) and the humans they used to fight. There'd likely be magic, a big death machine, and perhaps even a betrayal involved!

I've been writing scripts for this story as if it was a tv show (episodically). Maybe I should write a full movie script XD

I personally wouldn't base a Sonic movie on ANY of the video games, but there was a great series of shows based on the character which were more in depth and had better stories.

I'm not sure a live action film is possible, but yes I would suggest an anime movie! Maybe even a high profile Disney caliber animated film (I didn't think the original Sonic film had that great animation personally)

That was grand. First a Kingdom Hearts trailer and then a Sonic one. You do a Mario one and you are promoted to Uber-Awesome!!! I never liked the look of SATAM, but you did a pretty good job, particularly as Eggman. However, I would have shown other characters if they were in the film (Tails and Knuckles at the very least, even though the echidna wasn't in Satam).

I think Tails is in Satam, but not Knuckles, and not Shadow or Rouge either. Also, I literally used all of the Sonic footage I had available just to finish this video, but you have a point! It would be great if you knew about where I could find better quality Sonic trailers and cut scenes though. I've gotten some requests after this video to make a Tails trailer :P
