@SuRihtanil If you know how to tighten a bolt, it would be extremely difficult to put it together wrong. It will only fit one way. I did mine myself in about 2 hours.
It's a Formula. They only made 556 Formulas with hardtops in 1998. If you figure based on percentages, there were probably 8 Bright Purple Metallic Formula hardtops made. That's not very common.
Super rare car! PPG pulled the paint code, from what I remember. I've heard variations on how many were made, but the WS6 TA was the rarest of all bright purple metallic birds. Something like 5 of them were made with an M6.
There were 6 WS6s with a M6, 12 total built. I owned one of them, there's a video of it in my profile. I sold it back in May, though... It's now owned by a collector who has a whole mess of super rare oddball colored cars.
Killer! Love the color, love the Raptor hood, love the exhaust tone. I just put a set of American Racing Headers on my 98 Formula with a GMMG. I have a vid posted, but the engine hasn't been properly broken in yet, and not tuned.
how many horse power HP does your formula produces? what all parts do i need to get that beast sound? any extra stuff do i need to do to the car beside headers and gmmg exhaust?
No idea on the horsepower, haven't dyno'ed it, but it will run 12.7's on the strip all day long with just the exhaust, a 3200 stall converter, and 3.42 gears. All you need for that sound is long tube headers & the GMMG.
Yeah, I really love it. I also have a Bright Purple Metallic '98 Trans Am WS6 with a 6-speed... even rarer than this one. They made 10 WS6 coupes in purple... 9 were Trans Ams, and only 6 were sticks.
No, it's an automatic, because they are much more consistent at the track and cheaper to maintain at higher performance levels. I don't feel like buying clutches twice a year... and besides, I already have two other cars that are manuals.
You're a fuckin retard, dude. I have three cars with the same drivetrain and this one is the fastest by a huge margin. It's not any work trying to keep up with a manual, in fact it's easier because I never miss a shift, EVER.
Hey man hold your horses, I havent insulted you in any way, my messages are friendly...
But anyways just ask any racing team if they want a manual or auto transmission and they'll say manual every time. A good pilot doesnt miss the shifts and has better control around corners, lets say a corner that has to be done in 3rd gear, you can just set 3rd gear on a manual, but you cant set it on an auto, you can hope that the transmission will go down a gear when you lose revs, but thats not good.
Actually, yes you have.. and continue to do so by just not getting it.. It's a DRAG RACING car, dude. It goes fast in a straight line, there are no corners on the track. Nearly all of the fastest cars on my drag racing team are automatics, and I finished #3 in the point standings last year. And guess what, the two other cars that beat me were automatics, too.
If I want to go do some corners, as I said, I have two other cars that are manuals. That's not what this car is for.
FUCK!!!!

I wonder how much it would cost to have a GMMG catback chambered exhaust installed on a LS1 camaro?
SuRihtanil 1 year ago
@SuRihtanil - Install it yourself, it's not that hard.
DrEvyl666 1 year ago
@DrEvyl666 I may do that, but I wouldn't want to put it together wrong.

Please don't tell me you're not smart enough to realize that cars can be parked inside a garage nose out as well as nose in.

Trade it for one with a V8, buy some long tube headers and a GMMG exhaust.
