  • FUCK!!!!

  • HAHA wow, I know the family who you bought this from. I am good friends with the son of their family.

This was a nice/rare collectable car. Glad to see you are modding it :)

  • I wonder how much it would cost to have a GMMG catback chambered exhaust installed on a LS1 camaro?

  • @SuRihtanil - Install it yourself, it's not that hard.

  • @DrEvyl666 I may do that, but I wouldn't want to put it together wrong.

  • @SuRihtanil If you know how to tighten a bolt, it would be extremely difficult to put it together wrong. It will only fit one way. I did mine myself in about 2 hours.

  • @DrEvyl666 I put in a cold air intake, I can my own oil, and fluids. I am not car expert but just curious because I have never installed exhaust.

  • @DrEvyl666 ROFL.. nice reply haha.

  • Very rare. I got a 02 Trans Collectors edition Ws6 Conv. Yellow w black top. Rare but not as rare as this formula! lol

  • i have a dropped 92 chevy exteded cab truck painted this color. best color ever so fuckin sexy when you wax it

  • I'm with ya there, it's really sharp. I'm going to miss this car, that is for sure.

  • anybody know how many firdbird formulas were made in 2000? a guess or anything?

  • Wiki does.

  • If you go to LS1TECH . COM and do a search, it's over there, also.

  • Very awsome!

  • God, your car is rare!!!!

Stop by and look at my rare 'bird.

  • Please don't tell me you're not smart enough to realize that cars can be parked inside a garage nose out as well as nose in.

  • @DrEvyl666 rofl

  • hard top on a firebird is pretty common

  • It's a Formula. They only made 556 Formulas with hardtops in 1998. If you figure based on percentages, there were probably 8 Bright Purple Metallic Formula hardtops made. That's not very common.

  • Super rare car! PPG pulled the paint code, from what I remember. I've heard variations on how many were made, but the WS6 TA was the rarest of all bright purple metallic birds. Something like 5 of them were made with an M6.

  • There were 6 WS6s with a M6, 12 total built. I owned one of them, there's a video of it in my profile. I sold it back in May, though... It's now owned by a collector who has a whole mess of super rare oddball colored cars.

  • Intense!

  • Killer! Love the color, love the Raptor hood, love the exhaust tone. I just put a set of American Racing Headers on my 98 Formula with a GMMG. I have a vid posted, but the engine hasn't been properly broken in yet, and not tuned.

  • How can i make my 2000 V6 firebird sound like this, i want it to sound like the beast

  • Trade it for one with a V8, buy some long tube headers and a GMMG exhaust.

  • how many horse power HP does your formula produces? what all parts do i need to get that beast sound? any extra stuff do i need to do to the car beside headers and gmmg exhaust?

  • No idea on the horsepower, haven't dyno'ed it, but it will run 12.7's on the strip all day long with just the exhaust, a 3200 stall converter, and 3.42 gears. All you need for that sound is long tube headers & the GMMG.

  • need a V8

  • I know from LS1tech, you like you some purple cars, sounds great, thanks for posting.

  • That is simply bad ass. Nice ride brother. Keep on killin that rice.

  • gmmg ftw :)

  • Love the sound

  • WOW!!! Only 26 Purple Formulas made in 98. You have a rare car there.

  • Yeah, I really love it. I also have a Bright Purple Metallic '98 Trans Am WS6 with a 6-speed... even rarer than this one. They made 10 WS6 coupes in purple... 9 were Trans Ams, and only 6 were sticks.

  • nice job!

  • omg fuckin dragster lol

  • That is an awesome car!

  • nice wheels

  • Sweet car, I hope its a manual transmission =P

  • No, it's an automatic, because they are much more consistent at the track and cheaper to maintain at higher performance levels. I don't feel like buying clutches twice a year... and besides, I already have two other cars that are manuals.

  • Eek mate, well good luck trying to keep up with a manual ^^

  • You're a fuckin retard, dude. I have three cars with the same drivetrain and this one is the fastest by a huge margin. It's not any work trying to keep up with a manual, in fact it's easier because I never miss a shift, EVER.

  • Hey man hold your horses, I havent insulted you in any way, my messages are friendly...

But anyways just ask any racing team if they want a manual or auto transmission and they'll say manual every time. A good pilot doesnt miss the shifts and has better control around corners, lets say a corner that has to be done in 3rd gear, you can just set 3rd gear on a manual, but you cant set it on an auto, you can hope that the transmission will go down a gear when you lose revs, but thats not good.

  • Actually, yes you have.. and continue to do so by just not getting it.. It's a DRAG RACING car, dude. It goes fast in a straight line, there are no corners on the track. Nearly all of the fastest cars on my drag racing team are automatics, and I finished #3 in the point standings last year. And guess what, the two other cars that beat me were automatics, too.

If I want to go do some corners, as I said, I have two other cars that are manuals. That's not what this car is for.

  • And actually.. yes, I can set this car in 1st or 2nd gear and have it stay there.

  • yeah these cars with a high stall and some shorter rear end gears will whip manuals.

  • wow manual sux ass auto 6speed would lose it by far

  • thats a sweet fucking car
