Blast - it won't play but I'm looking forward to doing a support set at this Legendary fella's gig on the 8th May in North London! And I already met Jon at Ronnie's earlier this year - I'm on a roll huh! ;)

GF LOVES this music - that's the obvious thing. Pulled out the barisax when he was just "a kid." Owns this as much as he did "Walking the Dog" (banned in the Vista Motorcycle Park ballroom) Who could replace Rufus - but this guy just nails the funk/R&B aspects. Covers are hardly a fav of mine - but I'm not about to reject a single bad-azz note from this arrangement. Hendricks schools everybody at the end. I just know this was a big thrill for the musicians to be on this recording date.
if you all want the video to work, change the quality from 360p to 240p

Wow, the Hammondmeister rules! And that is so much more funky & laid-back than I've heard for quite a while. Excellent!

Georgie Fame's duet partner on this recording is Morrison himself. Jon Hendricks is only heard in the scatting part towards the end.

I think Georgie Fame has made this his own, above the Van Morrison version
