What are you saying? The same thing Van Halen has turned themselves into? That would be a Vegas side show. Of course, they're great...I guess. You see, they used to be my favorite band. That was, well, until Eddie decided that alcohol wasn't enough and the "meth look" did it for him. I'm not saying it's not "awesome". Nah, I saw enough of Dave and his bullshit in the '80's, and in every other hair band that ripped them off.

It let me down that eddie when that way too but it didn't keep me from enjoying his music... Your right that alot of people stole from it but alot of them did it in different ways like white lion and autograph... I guess its a matter of opinion but I am glad of what came out of it all. When people "rip off" of something I dont think they are always thinking about money... but even if they are I liked the music.I don't think drugs are awesome but alot of other people do and thats their choice lol

My argument (if you could even call this that) has not one fucking thing to do with money. And for the record, I do enjoy their shit. However, seeing them now, with nothing to tour on but a bumpy history and an appeal to pathos does little to peak my curiosity. Zakk has accomplished far more than most, especially in only 20 years. Most of his peers haven't accomplished, let alone mastered the simple art of the hybrid picking style so employed in this genre. Drugs don't bother me, dumb does.

this may sound like a noob question, but did dave preform any of his solo material on the tour? and did they do any of their Hagar material. i just think it would be interesting to see eddie play some of jason becker/stev vai's licks like "yankee rose".
i also think it would be neat to see DLR do some Hagar. though hagar was not as good as DLR (IMHO), i think it would be cool to see them do 'Right now'.

Probably because DLR is huge right now, making lots of money and playing the part of rock star again, whereas nobody cares about Zakk Wylde at this point. Yeah, he's a talented guitarist, but he probably couldn't even afford to fight assault charges in court.
