  • @copacetic5: In my few decades as a Baha'i, one thing I have learned - and I pass it across the 'net to you. The differences among the followers of all the faiths has more to do with the misunderstanding of the message than it does among the messengers themselves. Baha'u'llah has taught the two 'sides' of religion - the 3 onenesses, as taught - and the non-essentials, which are all about the contingent world. Embrace the former, and leave those who cling to the latter ... they shall pass.

  • Denying yourself sanctuary with God because of selfish pride only serves to harm yourself.

  • "Christ shall return in the Glory of God" (Baha'u'llah) "The Glory of God shall pass by the Gate" (the Bab) "And thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall utter." These are only a very few of hundreds of prophecies which, studied together, are utterly convincing. But one must be of sincere mind and heart, unobstructed by the veils of prejudice and inherited beliefs. The struggle transcends intellectual faculties alone, yet is supremely logical at its base.

  • Every time a true Prophet of God appears, He is opposed and missed by the "Leaders" of religion. This has always been so. Baha'u'llah suffered forty years of exile and imprisonment. His Writings are incomparable. A pure, seeking soul is required to discover the Truth, which is apparent to some, but not those whose eyes are blind... This is called "Independent investigation of truth" No one can do it for another

  • For those who study Adventist prophecy, 1844 AD is the logical time conclusion, reinforced by 1260 AH. The place, as Jeremiah points out 49:38 is Persia: "The Lord shall set His throne in Elam" and "There shall be no nation where the outcasts of Elam shall not come." The Baha's have been cast out of Elam (Iran) to every nation since 1844. Even the Jews have gone home. Its all falling into place.

  • Excellent. I'm gonna use this in my own cluster. In my 'hood' . Thanks bro! Thanks sis'!

  • there is nothing wrong about bahai religion all peace for humanity !!!!!!!! i even couldnt find one question !!!!! bahai faith is included equility of all religions in one religion this is the true unity RIGHT!!!!!! muslims ignore cristuans and cristuans ignore muslims ..... so what!!!! then this is not religion no body likes one onother !!!! so all hate each other ...

  • We do not fear your Barnin.

Tell me: If Jesus Christ is the only messiah, then why did he have no descendants? Jeremiah 33:17

  • WOW. Matthew 16:27, Luke 9: 26

  • Bahà'u'llàh never said His name is Cristo. His name means The Glory of God. And Cristo said He will come in the Glory of God. We are inviting you to investigate.

  • Actually...thats not true. You might want to read 'Theif in the Night' by Willima Sears. It might explain it alot clearer

  • So grateful to have this faith in my life. So relavant to my life and the greater need of the entire world. So glad I looked into it deeply for myself!

  • This faith has changed my life, giving me and my family hope for the future, joy and purpose. Baha'i Faith is the latest inspiration from God which deals so very directly with the relavant issues and needs of the times in which we live. So thankful to have investigated it for myself!

  • If one accepts this Muslim 'Jesus', then one also accepts the Qur'an: one accepts Islam. Belief in this 'Isa is won at the cost of the libel that Jews and Christians have corrupted their scriptures, a charge that is without historical support. Belief in this 'Isa implies that much of Christian and Jewish history is in fact Islamic history - which is of couse absurd since Mohammed came 600 years after Jesus!

  • I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're saying.

  • @copacetic5 You err, it was Abu Safian and the Umayya Dynasty that corrupted Islam, not the Christians. This is historically accurate, he was the enemy of Muhammad in the battles he fought, and responsible for killing Ali - the rightful successor to Muhammad. Despite this, his tribe took over The Caliphate.

  • @copacetic5 PURE BABBLING...you make no sense on any.

  • As a Christian, I have no "oneness" with liars, false prophets and false teachers.

Why does Baha'i try to formulate another Jesus?

The belief in Baha'u'llah largely reduce to a point of faith—is one willing to accept him as the manifestation of God, in the absence of objective evidence. Of course, Christianity also calls for faith, but the Christian has strong and demonstrable evidence along with that faith.

  • As Steve said earlier to someone else, "That sounds very arrogant, triumphalist and un-Christian to me."

  • @copacetic5

the evidence is there, the question really is: are you willing to investigate, ask and listen with an open mind? Or will you go the way of the Pharisees and blindly object? After all they were expecting a sword wielding warrior king upon a gold throne that would destroy the Roman and lead them to victory. And you are expecting Jesus to return from the clouds surrounded by angles....might you own holy book be giving you an example?

  • @copacetic5 Does Jesus not say "I have more to tell you but you cannot yet bear it" and promise his return?

  • the hebrew word for see translates into english as "to recognise, to realise". the meaning has not been changed, you're just interpreting everything much more literally. and you can't take the whole bible literally because it doesn't make sense if you do.

  • well actually that's not true. and of course he's not going to mention him exactly otherwise there'd be a name written down. there are many indications of when he says he'll return and different criteria he mentions which are fulfilled by baha'u'llah

  • you're coming out with a lot of quotes here, which is very impressive, but you're not answering any questions

  • so you believe that jesus WAS god?

  • he also spoke to this father, claimed that his father was greater than him, claimed that he went to sit at his father's right hand. from your perspective, the bible would appear to contridict itself awfully and numerously

  • That sounds very arrogant, triumphalist and un-Christian to me. cheers

  • like the lyrics very much.

    Baha'i greetings from Switzerland

  • I hope not. nice music. Bahia believe the there prophet Coming of the Mahdi, return of Jesus Christ, reincarnation of all prophets...I think not...

  • That's your opinion ;)

  • thanks so much, very interesting
