Everyone complains about the price but stop and think... These are NEW homes complete with appliances and furniture. $60-150k is a steal for a new home fully furnished, energy efficient, etc. On par with mobile homes without the furnishings. Could you build your own cheaper? Of course. But the price isn't so bad when you let someone else do the work for you.
Love, love, love the idea of building with shipping containers, but don't like the ones that stay too true to its box-like rectangular form. It feels institutional. The exciting ones in my opinion are those that are confirgured uniquely and originally and that exude space, but still feel like a more traditional style home.
$58,000 !? Must be that special adaptable window... price per square meter isn't that competitive guys. what's a new shipping container, $4 - 8k - $50K to outfit it with a small kitchen, insulation and plumbing is waaaaay overpriced. Look at Malaysian housing container companies - much more competitive. Less said for blank unit at $46,000 - seriously.
that is a beautiful accomodation house container. I like how you got so much in the space and mapped it out quite well. Some designs I have seen on youtube look less than manageable.

My aunty has a 3bedroomed house that is obviously so much larger than this! and its £80,000 so i think £58,000 is slightly ridiculous!

Very Impressive.
However, I must say the narrowness is a bit concerning.
I'd like to see some of the larger 2-bedroom units your website tells of. They look more livable.

I appreciate the design and space use, but these are just "flat packs" and not the durability of ISBU's (shipping containers).

I would much rather recycle than take new.
You should call these what they are, Pre-fab homes, Not Shipping Container homes.

Buy a block of land, throw four of these on it, rent it out. Nice cheap rental units.
