I could not agree more with you. That flood of negative and (mostly) manipulating information we are swamped with on a daily basis takes its toll on our state of mind. If you keep eating junk food day in day out, you are bound to get sick and giving in to the lure of the so-called information society makes our minds just as sick as our bodies get from all that junk food. It is all about finding the middle way, I guess.
Gosh, I've just discovered that you've deleted a lot of your past videos. Why? Love your videos anyway. Keep them coming! (^_^) By the way I'm going to post a new video later today. Be sure to check it out.
@volapuk49 I would say that I simply spend some time in silence. Interesting things is that very often important phrases can come to you without you trying to recall them.
Priviet, Amir! With this video I was so fascinated by your Russian subtitles and I am very proud that I could read and understand some small words of them. (I had private lessons in Russian in the year 1987).Hopefully you don't mind that I concentrated more on these Russian subtitles than on your speech in English. :) I always use silence for intensive thinking and this often happens in my foreign languages.
Very well said! I've been more or less already doing that, all be it this is the first time I've heard a term for it. It is very important to stop using a television because of advertisements and because you don't really control what you are exposed to- bittorrent/youtube/etc is the way to go. One must become the king/selector of what information they are exposed to- otherwise you are flooded with junk. Also meditation is pretty cool.

This is a very interesting video, Amir.
When you go into silence do you think about anything or simply sit in silence?
Is this a deliberate part of your way to learn languages?
