  • EVERYONE HOW DO I PLUG IN THE DDR PAD TO THE WII HELP PLEASE

  • @pancholiketacos open the thing on the top, (which is the gamecube controller). Then plug it in.

  • For the hand arrow things where you ue the Wii remote... do you have to use those? or can I just use the DDR dance pad? I want this for christmas so just curious

  • you can turn it off but on DDRHP3 you have to leave it on to get AAA or you can't get that rating

  • they background layout reminds me of DDR Disney Channel Edition for PS2 haha

  • LOL After the song it says : I LOVE DDR

  • Im guessing a HOTTEST PARTY 3!

  • yup, the name in the Wii and PS2 version changed to HP3(Wii) and X2(PS2)

This also has the same Announcer as the ones in HP and HP2. The arrows are actually better in here compared to the PS3/360 Arrows.

  • will DDR X2 have shocker arrows?

  • I'm not sure, but at least the arrows in PS2 still looks good. I hate the PS3/360 Arrows, they better make a patch.

  • From what I can figure, this is "Hyper Move Mode". The big appeal of this mode if that all four directions are used for the hand markers, rather than just left and right.

I really hope that they end up using all difficulties for this rather than just beginner/basic.

  • Hand markers were only shake left hand and shake right hand in HP1 and 2, they weren't directional at all. You could swing them in any direction and still hit Marvelous, it didn't matter. Now it does.

These ARE the new hand markers period. They're going to be in every song at every difficulty. The only mode that looks to be restricted to beginner/basic is obviously the balance board mode.

  • Are you absolutely sure? In the screenshots that Konami has posted for this game, every screen shot that shows those markers are labeled "Hyper Move Mode", and there doesn't seem to be any other differences from normal mode that can be seen.

  • @piepiepie75YT

I know your comment it too old xD but there's an option on the menu to play de Hyper Move Mode :P

  • Looks fun, is there a option to turn off wii remote game play?

  • Yup.

  • do you know when its set to be released?

  • Most stores seem to have the release date as October 27.

  • October 27th for PS2 and wii

  • ALL of the Wii games have had that.

  • Hottest Party 3!. Come on bring "Little Butterfly" for the wii as that song is only on the playstation DDR's

  • Every game will have the same base 50 songs, and that's not one of them. IMO, good. Heard that shit too much in the arcades.

  • thats not the origonal dynamite rave...

  • So will they have japanese songs on here or only english?

  • OOOOOMMMMGGGG!!!!! I WANT THAT!!!!!! xxD

  • @soapyxbubblez OOOOOMMMMGGGG!!!!! I HAVE THAT!!!!!!! XD

  • Where are the options? Speed mods? Arrow coloring?

  • Cool back ups! Better than the old ones! T

  • Wierdo! What did they do the lyrics? OMG! So annoying!

  • They Changed The Lyrics cause the License for the Orginal Singer "Paula Terry" is Running out.

And they should call it "Dynamite Rave 2009"

  • Dynamite Rave (2008 X-Edit)

  • Yes! Taking it to the sky is a great song! You outdone urself U1!

  • It looks so 4th mix, I love it!

  • it looks like UNI3 on the Wii with new things/colors

  • It looks nothing like 4th... O_o

  • The lyrics had to be changed because of royalty issues. It's also why X has a new announcer.

  • HP1 and HP2 was just fine IMO. If the only DDR I played was DDRX and other arcade and PS2 releases I probably would've quit at SN2, but as it stands now I can't agree with you.

  • Why Taking It To The Sky has a better font in the Wii? The PS2 one is pretty ugly. >:S

1:15 How cute~ You can see the banner now. Also, lol,TELEPHONE OPERATOR.

    Rena looks adorable.

Why KONAMI still doesn't want to include back up dancers and dance routines in the PS2?

  • RAM and performance issues probably. You'd be asking DDR to do routines at the level of what the GH games have been doing (which is exactly the kind of routines HP2 has in it) and that requires RAM. This is the big reason DDRX arcade does them and not the PS2.

Mario Mix had individual routines per song, but the routines were VERY basic compared to even HP1 and the performance seemed to take a hit as well. Even if they had the routines, the lighting and effects would still be a big issue.

  • rumor has it they will have dance routines for the PS2, but they cant show it @ the demo....

they gave dance routines in DDRX on the japanese version and the arcade....

  • Japanese DDRX CS didn't have dance routines, and the reason for the arcade DDRX having them is because Bemani PC is stronger than PS2.

  • They did that in the arcade release because Bemani PC is stronger with much more RAM than the PS2. Don't expect routines on PS2 if DDRX JP CS didn't get them.

  • I don't see what's wrong with it really unless you're a DDR purist. I could never understand the original lyrics all that well anyway so changing them doesn't really matter to me.

  • They apparently had to remake the song due to licensing issues with the original vocalist.

What mode were you playing? Why's it limited to Beginner and Basic? :S

  • I thought it was because of the lyrics too

  • Probably in DDR School.

  • Unless they've changed the way lesson mode works on Wii, I doubt that's lesson mode. Lesson mode had different objectives based on the fundamentals of DDR that you had to clear and often times had it's own music. It'd be messed up if Keep on Movin' new edition ended up in there.

  • The worst part is they still used the original banner!

Yeah if this isn't DDR jumping the shark, I dont know what is. :P
