Zoe, our little 3 pound Yorkie, plays the Shell Game

How did you teach her to wait until you're done moving the cups? And how did you get her to tip over the cup with her paw? I'm playing this game with my own three pound yorkie and she gets so excited that she can't sit still and contain herself lol.

well duh... of course she isn't as accurate when you move the cup with the treat under it around. That is the whole POINT of it... that she concentrates on that cup! Sheesh, a monkey could figure this out. Make it challenging. Zoe is a doll. I have a 4 pound yorkie named Pippin. She is a lot smarter than this, though. Sorry, but it's true.

Aww I'm picking up my new yorkie today!! :D She'll be 2 pounds and she's 7 weeks old :D I'm SOOoooOOO exited! :P I think I'm going to name her Addison :) ZOE is such A CUTE NAME by the wayyy!!! :D

You are right! She can focus when I mix the cups and change the ORDER (so that the treat cup that started in the middle is now on a side)... but if I actually move the treat cup itself, she is not as accurate. Interesting doggie psychology! She seems to concentrate intensely on that one spot regardless of what else is going on. Thanks for the watching!
