  • Aaron has a cheesy smile

  • these are some amazing tips!

  • BACKSTAGE CASTING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Gotta love the Internet!! Everything that was said in this video should be helpful to ANY aspiring actor. Don't listen to these idiot, wanna be YouTube critics. Don't know what the $&#% they're talking about. Acting is "Living truthfully under imaginary circumstances". It's that simple & that difficult.

  • this guy is so creepy looking, that dead look in his eyes ..like a pedophile teaching you how to act

i wonder if hes a gay as well...

  • This is Octavius J. Johnson personally YA'LL! A budding performer and singer

I love this video! I watch it over so many times becauase -all of what the coaches said is so true and those techniques will work. I know it.

    Thnks!

Also watch my new video everyone if you don't know me yet!

  • Mr. Howard Fine i love what you said about knowing why i am saying a line"coming from me" thats one thing that i need to work on . most of the time i think that i am, but i am not really findind my objective

also mr Aaron Speiser" that the performance is created in the editing room"

    !!!being in the moment

    it is wonderful

    thanks everyone

  • its amazing how some ppl can take acting classes for many years and never grasp that (believe me...ive met some of those ppl)...at the end of the day, the quality of your acting is wholly dependent upon how well you play that character and whether you're convincing...

  • There are some good tidbits in here but I have to TOTALLY disagree with that statement that 'TV and movies are not performing'. So not true. The editing can certainly enhance a performance to a great degree but just because editing is so important, you CANNOT discredit the actors performance in a TV or movie role. That is just ridiculous.

  • @mistimtnblue I totally agree. That statement he made single-handedly exposed why most actors who start in film or TV are significantly inferior to those with a solid background in theater. Film/TV bred actors think they can just look pretty and depend on others to make them look good. Theater bred actors are the ones you actually WANT to watch on film/TV/theater, because they put the work into it, tend to be less shallow or in it for the fame, and then their character completely comes to life.

  • great advice

  • Aaron Spiser comments are spot on, but Please Ms. Jentzen, somebody to tell you that the "character" is whoever the actors is. Thnk Nicolson, Kline, Hanks. Get grip. Howard is totally out of it. He's read too many books on acting

  • great tips thanks check out my account please

  • you are a rascist scumbag. You'll get yours.

  • What happened dannybuoy123? Tell us which one you are talking about? There are 3 or 4 different people giving interviews - why are you saying what you are saying?

  • Howard Fine's advice seems the most practical -- look inside yourself -- like that

  • This is very helpful, thank you.

  • what a crock

  • this helped alot thank

  • Awesome - very helpful!

  • IM16THISGAVEMEALOTTOTHINKABOUT

  • This was helpful. I'd like to hear more. Thanks for putting this together for us. Wylie

  • thank you so much :)

  • What they're saying is all true but they're also obvious and fundamental.

  • I agree whole heartedly.
