  • FUCKIN BANGIN !!

  • Jazzy Jeff used to be with Will Smith...

when they made Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince

  • @irishcoct ... i guess we should just go back in time and leave the modern technology we have alone...im tired of hearing u ppl

  • is this in Germany? The crowd is all kinds of gay

  • @kungfuzoey the description clearly says its at Rotterdam, The Netherlands

what part did you not understand?

  • @kungfuzoey Netherlands, and you're gay

  • jazz is a legend

  • Cool but the crowd is kinda gay

  • 83 people "KILL YOURSELF"...WorD!

  • OK ! IT DOES HAVE A TOUCH OF BEAT JUGGLING IN IT.Still a mix..

  • its no remix its a orginal , using serato u load the same track on each deck and yes beat juggle between the two tracks , watch him on the cross fader . please everyone learn about djing serato turntables , cdjs etc b4 u make silly remarks

beat juggle- is between to tracks , no one said they had to be different in this case the same and in most cases the same track played a beat behind the first

  • @bigalhouk Says the guy who can't spell *Two*

  • @TheDiscoChildren what does that mean ? , theres heaps of comments on here with people using the number to replace the word its just the way we are with texting etc making things shorter faster to write etc . being able to spell or write the word for a number has nothig to do with my dj knowledge and i'm not try or wanting to get into some slinging match i'm just confused as to where you are going with this comment thats all .

  • @TheDiscoChildren ok " TWO "

  • @bigalhouk Well I say it's a remix...But I can tell you for sure,,,,this is NOT a DJ Jazzy Jeff original....I heard a mix like this over 20 years ago. This is a copycat mix.I'm sure if I scan these old cassettes around here I could find the mix by whoever the dj was at the time.I also remember it being better.Still takes skill.I think it takes some extraordinary skills to repeat a mix.I'm just saying,,Freestylin is a little easier.

  • It's NOT beat juggling ..it's a REMIX.. a beat juggle contains a juggle between two or more songs, where niether song is readilly recognized .At least not very easily.THIS is very recognizable from the beginning. This is a LiIVE remix. As opposed to an edited one,.

  • @kaadauwgg lmaooo ur an idiot!!!!

  • @djaceboogie518 WHAT ?!....I'm just saying..I was right there when all this stuff started.Suddenly now,House music is techno. One of the best rappers in the world,Eminem.Says anoher rapper is the best..50Cent.LOL. A Live remix is beat juggling.Beat juggling must be a whole song then.Gangsta rappers are now seamstresses.Puff Daddy'..ok .he makes clothes. What started off as the Slide ended up being the Moonwalk.& a dog is not someone I dis-like.HE'S MY DOG!My friend!i'm cool w/ most of the changes

  • rappelkiste der kinderpöhler...

  • very Cool R.I.P Michael Jackson! Dj JAZZY JEFF is the best.

  • dj jazzy jeff is talented so why dont you learn something before you start dissing?

  • HAHA people don't know what beat juggling is. this is dope

  • REALLY STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Goddamn knuckleheads...this isn't a "remix"...its a dj beat juggling...and jazzy is godfather when it comes to spinning

  • Looks like they were snorting Coke around the 1.50 mark :)

  • Haters gonna hate.

  • oh the sausage fest? oh that would be at the imax.

  • Jazzy Jeff is a legend! Going to see him at Proud2 on the 21st of April!

  • WTF WHERE THE CHIKS AT???

  • I saw jazzy in about 87 in phillie in a contest. NO MAN ON THE PLANET could out mix him. This was kinda cool but his real work would destroy anyone who ever picked up a set of headphones...no computers, beat counters, or sampelers two turntables and a mixer...all you so called "dj's" shoud try that

  • @irishcoct THANK YOU!!! - I go by the name Vinylskill i'm 40yrs old and thats how we REAL DJs did it in the 80s and 90s (2 turntables, a mixer and VINYL) no bullshit digital componets that do MOST of the work for these so-called djs of today. Fuck cdjs, laptops, beat counters, effects etc. I'm so happy to of been born in 1970 and have had the expierence of not only REAL music growing up but REAL ways of manipulating the music as it spun around on my 1200's. Jazzy and Jam Master Jay were idols.

  • @Vinylskill so at 40 years young would you still wanna haul 50,000 crates of records everywhere???? i see where your coming from and all that, but keep in mind technology isn't the new talent,it still takes plenty of skill and hardwork to master, you could have the best set-up money can buy and still find your way thrown out a club like jazzy when uncle phil came home

  • @85ssontharocz hauling records? yes. heavy 1200's? yes. dont know what it feels like 2 get thrown out of anywhere- never has happend. this young generation always looks 4 the easiest route 2 do anything. and dont make yourself sound stupid dude, technology IS the new talent. how can u dispute that??? files, pre recorded scratches/beats, and BUTTONS do ALL the work. i didnt make this so, i would have NEVER. the young guys who r 2 weak 2 carry 50,000 crates of records did. peace out comedian.

  • @Vinylskill evolve or die..... jazzy is down with ableton hows that make you feel?

  • @s3rv1z how does that make me feel??!! umm well i just dont kno, guess im gonna go kill myself and die like u said...NOT, lol... r u seriuos fag, dont really care what jazzys in2 or ur comment. i do what I do and have a following all over pittsburgh, some ohio and some philly... when people approch me while im spinning they give mad love and respect 4 keepin it oldschool w TURNTABLES and VINYL. what the hell would u kids do without ur computers?? boohoo lol. big fuckin joke. later fag, ahaha.

  • @irishcoct Well even Jazzy uses computers today. Evolving technology is a very important part of this music style.

-from belt driven to direct turntables.

    -stronger electric motors

    -multitrack taperecorders to MPC samplers

    etc.

All are parts of the evolution of musical equipment.

There is no ORIGINAL in music style and equipment. Everything is part of an evolutionary process.

One day a caveman dropped a stick on a rock and music was born, everything is just evolving from that.

  • @irishcoct IVe been doing since my brother gave me his turntables in 91 I was 8 I did my first school gig when i was 11. My brother has been free styling since 83. It took me 2 hrs a day or longer 7 days a week to learn beat match scratch and roll effects out of a little keyboard. I still got it. I cant out do anyone. I am my own. I just kick ass now. Someone made fun of me last week in the bar. Said wheres your laptop or cd player. I said in my finger tips. Nothing like Vinyl

  • @irishcoct i agree with u man. this man is fireee

  • ahah check everyone disrepsecting dj jazzy jeff, i guarntee you that you will never amount to half of what jazzy jeff can do. so either show some repsect or stfu.

  • D.J MURAT ......

  • güzel olmuş murat çınar..... remix değilmi...

  • This is what happens when you fill a club with white people and a black dj >.> white people get confused and resort to a somewhat "zombie like" state.

  • @rlrief omfg lol XD

  • @rlrief Racist knobhead.

  • @rlrief at least we aren't shooting up the place because someone stepped on someone's shoes fuck-face.

  • @bongcouver I'm white...I don't think a black person would have the sense to look up from their Kool-aid to make such an observation.

  • The crowd is hopelessly confused.

  • easy as pie doing that try crossfadding and then scraching boath decks hard

  • The poor crowd is confuse of jazzy jeffs rythem feeling xD

  • @mark1313131313 oh my god what i would do to really see that crowd try n dance to this lol XD

  • YES RIGTH ITS NOT A REMIX.....

  • Jazzy can do this on vinyl. He was a champion of technology in DJ arts. But, I guarantee you that he can do everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) with 2 1200's and the original records.

  • booring..

  • gówno!!

  • really nice juggles, :)

  • DJ Jazzy Jeff is one of the top 40 in the world period...of all time. What he did to this song was just having fun basics. :) He rips it down all day like this.

  • @lowrinlife No kidding man. They almost look fucked up on E lol.

  • @lowrinlife hahahaahahhahahaha

  • THAT TRANSITION WAS SO EPIC

  • Say what, Say what!, shut up

  • OMG XD

  • @Th3pr0t0type and CoolKiOffTheBlock - well its up to you and those like you to save hip hop. Music in general. We're caught up in the Matrix. Way too much work done in computers. I remember DJs used to e just as important as MCs. Now all these digital beat have wipe that clean.

  • Sweet!!

  • mellow crowd

  • just leave is right! Jazzy Jeff is boxx, yall .. the royal boss.!

  • good!!!

  • The transition was beasty, and I agree with Pillemergency

  • i love this video!!!! i would love to have been there, i would've been the loudest one singin fa sho! i like how the song cutz out to hear the crowd singin along with it, i would've been laughing bcuz itz funny when ur drinkin :) and i love how everyone iz dancin but haz no rhythm, i'm not hatin, jus appreciatin lol

  • O_O sick !

  • Beast as hell

  • Wtf the transition was epic o_o

  • His transition to rock with you is just..... ...... godly is not enough

  • @CoolKidOffTheBlock i totally agree that was awesome

  • sorry what was different?

  • its all about dj jazzy jeff

  • Breakin the needle Jazzy jeff damnnnnn :O

  • This shit sounds good!!! Jammin Jeff!

  • SAY WHAT?

  • Now that's skill.

  • People under twenty-five have no clue how big DJing was to hip hop. Will Smith would have never been anything without Jazzy Jeff. That's why hip hop sucks now absolutely no artistry

  • @BigVilFromWestPhil well im 19 and i have a clue =)

  • @BigVilFromWestPhil Actually plenty of us have a clue. Because some of us young people have a good taste in music and don't go with the grain.

  • this is the lamest shit i ever heard

  • @kungen32 shame you dont understand how hard it is to do what jazzy just did

  • That is Will Smith with him isnt it?

  • @juska256 actually its some hypeman that Jazzy Jeff has...if you look at other videos...you'll see.

  • tha real hip hop.

  • DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince.

The Guy with the microphone is Will Smith, fool !

  • Hype man shut the efffffffffffffffff up Gott dammitt! You killed the vibe!

  • The dude with th emic is Mad Skillz

  • you destroi this song..

  • @ErikOlsson93 its a dance version.. get with the future!!!

  • @gknowsit he only scratch the song? is that the future? LOL

  • @kungen32 Yeah, it's this "new-fangled" thing called DJing. Brand new, only been around for 30 years now. Sweeping the nation you dipshit

  • nice one:)

  • is like a zombie dance party wtf =D

  • @drkungpao agreed LMFAO everyones monged out

  • I went to a club like this once in alphabet city in NY but could never find it again. Anyone know where it is?

  • Amazing!!

  • Thatas beacuse its A Gay Bar lol

  • is dat will smith wi him

  • sausage fest!

  • mad homo with all those guys

  • this remix is hot

  • i think the guy with the microphone should just leave, no one cares what he has to say xD they wanna hear jeff nt him

  • hypemen help add personality to the music

  • i agree, MCs typically are annoying, imo. sometimes though, there are some surprises

  • @xbad2dabonex

he's the oldschool version of the mc :)) (back in the disco days)

  • @xbad2dabonex its will smith also jeff is a good dj

  • @xbad2dabonex The guy with the mic is Skillz. He's an essential part of Jazzy's show - he builds the mood/excitement/whatever for Jazzy's next drop because he knows exactly what Jazz is gonna do. While Jeff amps up the crowd with his beat juggling and amazing scratch routines, Skillz helps to kick it up to another level of interaction between the crowd and the performers and reminds the crowd to dance and party. Otherwise everyone would just watch Jeff with their jaws dropped

  • @pillemergency ahahah sick now i get the point =))

  • @pillemergency Old school MC duties

  • @xbad2dabonex Well he's an MC in the purest form; A Master of Ceremonies. Although he's doing a poor job, its what he's there to do, to help entertain the crowd with the DJ and be that merge between crowd and dj

  • Vinyl control is much easier than real records man...come on...you do need to be a good Dj to use virtual stuff...but not that good...and cue point....have changed the way people dj man!!!!

  • over zealous jealous phuq

  • fuck you!!! original vinyl are more better than "Mp3 on virtual dj"! Mp3 and cds dont have quality!

  • this guy is a real fcukin idiot for making such comment try serato and vinyl And tell me difference fckin convenience dumb fuck can play shitt anywhre anytime dumb ass

  • you are really idiot! with sick mp3s he cant play on party! the quality of mp3s is very sick man!

  • It's not worth it... There will always be people that don't want to change. If you could have told us back in 1986 that we could have 50 crates worth of 12 inches on something called a laptop computer in 20 years we would have been geeked. Virtual Vinyl setups have their drawbacks but so does actual wax and it's not just the fact that you have to carry 6 crates to do a set.

I've had this same conversation with DJ's in their 20's. Fuck it... Peace.

  • you sound really stupid! everyone uses mp3's...cuz people like us who been djing since the 80's don't have to carry milk crates of records!!!

  • @michaelsvejcar

See that laptop beside him? Thats loading mps..
