The grace and beauty of Bharatanatyam is learned over a lifetime of study under an excellent teacher. In Jai's case, it was under U. S. Krishna Rao and Chandrabhaga Devi, Jamuna Krishna and Jayalakshmi Eshwar. Additionally, the ability to follow the talas and interpret the sahityam in a beautiful way belongs solely to neither male dancers nor female dancers.
@dpinvogue I never said he danced bad..........in fact he danced amazingly.........but vaidehiraghavan didnt have to put women down just to praise him........ some women are just as good......it all depends on each person, their teachers
