hello, I just wanted to say the original one is the Murray Head version, the guys from ABBA made the song and gave it to him in 1984 to perform for the musical "chess", if the other version is from 1985, it can't be the original :)

oh, this one is good too. is erazor some kind of tribute or word play on "erasure"?. I ask because the group Erasure like ABBA a lot and it's one of their inflluences so maybe this was a tribute to both groups.

@Chrisduden You're incorrect. The original was sung by Murry Head in 1984 which appeared on a concept album for the musical 'Chess'. Though Robey, too, sang it in 1984 hers was but a cover of Murry's original version.

I agree the Murray Head is easily the best BUT...it wasn't the first version to have success. Canadian female singer Robey charted on the Billboard Dance charts before Murray's version hit the charts.

Robey's version isn't too bad, but not as good as the "original" we all know and love
