It's the opposite of all the trends of news sets I've seen over the years. Most flagship bulletins are going for the "live camera backdrop" and moving onto one presenter for news and one for sport (except Ten). Perth seems to be keeping the two presenter format and still backdrop.

Yeah, on one hand they're confroming with other Nine News's by bringing the city-scape key up closer & having a girl/guy combo (aka Adelaide, Brisbane & Newcastle), but everytime I see the top masthead, I think that's not meant to be in shot...
Interesting new news logo though. Different, but I like it!
