@bloodvein3 mostly cuz in the studio it's easier to sing a half step up, which is probably about what it is. lots of bands play a half step down when their live or on tour because it's less stressful on the vocalist's voice. Back when fuse was good, they would pick these guys up in NYC mid tour.

he was in a heavy metal band before he joined fall out boy. it was a band called racetraitor. but when they broke up, andy joined fob around the same time 2 of the founding members left. fob used to have 5 guys in it. (look it up on wikipedia)
