In response to anyone commenting on the dancing..who defines how to "dance" to Northern Soul..You..? Me.?... I think not....there is no set way.... I also have been to hundreds of venues.and I aint seen any two people dance the same yet....did the early dancers in the 60s.move like the dancers of the late 70s or early 80s ...Ill bet not...its evolving....it still is ..Enjoy it for what it is...a fantastic scene...KTF

Whitby weekender dates are Fri , July 1st, Sat 2cnd, Sun 3rd. Sat usually goes on till about 4 am & theres afternoon sessions as well which are brilliant.

Its like watching a load of old folks dancing from side to side. Same dance in every video, to old most to do anything else!!!!!!

@26021961 Yeh right well at least they have the balls to get up and dance, your probably one of the drinking wallflowers who congregate round the edges of dancefloors up and down the country taking the piss. If you don't like it go to another site that more suits your tastes and leave those who like this music and dancing alone. Its a great scene and very friendly, apart from derogatory comments from the occasional knob who passes through these pages.
