They are stopped flute pipes with a tremulant on the back of them. I am currently working on the tremulant box and chest to run them. When that is done, I will probably post a video and they will sound different.
I have a feeling that when the rest of the organ is completed, it is going to sound great. BTW, what classic organ is your organ going to be modeled after.
These are stopped flute pipes but in the bass end the mouths seem to have high cut-up. Perhaps there is video distortion - Why don't you get a nice set of used organ pipes and put them on a valve box of your making. It will save much time. Very nice work, You should put different views of what you presently have on line. Many would like to see it as well. Tremulant on the back of each pipe?? Don't you mean a tremulant for the wind chest? Looks very nice.
They would have to be cut up high to be used on the high pressures necessary for use outdoors. wood pipes from a pipe organ would come unglued in no time if subject to outdoor conditions- band organ pipes are more ruggedly constructed. (usually)
All u need is this and you can make a barrel organ. all you should do is make a Facade.

These don't sound like jazz flutes at all? They look like they're too tall as well.

Yes I will, but it will be long time. This project is very time consuming.
