  • I need a better dermatologist. She's in a hurry and is dismissive re my SD. I've been living w/ SD 20+ years. I would cry tears of joy if I could have relief from the scalp, forehead and eyebrow itch and flaking. I want a CURE. I know they say there is none, as it is genetic. I want a dr who will take this seriously, and try to help me. I'm tired of flakes all over my eyeglasses, I'm tired of scratching my itchy hairline or eyebrow in a meeting and suddenly it's a snow storm.

  • @nebraskafrankcourtny Hey my buddy told me baking soda cured his eczema

  • @nebraskafrankcourtny I know exactly how you feel. I have been to so many dermatologists and they just don't seem to care at all. They are always in a hurry and barely take the time to talk to the patient and find out what is going on. I have this all over my face right now, literally, all over. I have been crying all day because I am embarrassed to leave the house and people keep asking me if I have a sunburn. This condition can be so depressing.

  • I feel like you. And doctors usually seem robots, without feelings. Especially in summer, this ilness is terrible

  • And I am at home all this weekend. I hope the medicine have some effect in some days. How old are you? I am 23 I have acne since I was 11. It´s terrible, so many parts of my life have benn lost forever cuz this fucking ilness I hate life sometimes...

  • @reichsfuhrer1987 I am right there with you. I know how it feels to feel helpless, defenseless, and just plain OVER IT!! I have acne too. I had to take accutane about 5-6 years back to help because it was so painful. I am still breaking out now though, ever since i started that stupid NuvaRing. I stopped the ring but I can shake the acne. Plus, I got this chemical peel that made my face so thin, dry, flaky, irritated, and jacked up. I think it flared my sebderm.

  • @reichsfuhrer1987 So, now i have acne and sunburned and rough looking skin. AHHHHH!!

  • Respond to this video... I am 26. I got invited to go out with some friends tonight. I feel like s**t and don't want to go but I am going to anyways so I don't stay home and feel depressed.

  • i use hydrocortizone cream 0.1 i believe and from personal experience i went tanning regularly and that was THE BEST method IMO.. it may be dangerous but once the tan mixes with the redness you cant even tell PLUS it makes the area so smooth that i felt not self conscious anymore and i was tan n lookin hot ;) try it

  • TRY "Milk of Magnesia"!!!!!

    It really worked for me....!!!

it costs only 1,5 dollar and can be found everywhere to every pharmacy shop .....use it like a lotion!Once a day untill dermatitis go away!

  • @evzaboum my 6 yr old son has this and is using a prescription shampoo but dnt seem to work do you use milk of magnesia on your scalp or skin?? please respond asap my son is so sad cause he has this and im looking for any remedy!!

  • @sweetbeso69 try rinsing hair with apple cider vinegar. Dilute about 2 tables spoons in 1 cup of water and let the hair/scalp soak in it. Wrap a towel for 10 mins and then wash hair with gently shampoo. It should help.

  • how can you tell the difference between Seborrheic Dermatitis and Psoriasis, my skin doctor says i have Psoriasis while me father who is also a normal doctor beleives its Seborrheic Dermatitis

  • A dermatologist has a better idea of it, you dad is a normal doctor, so he has limited ideas to assume or so, so a dermotologist may tell you what it is tho..

  • Yeah but the skin doctor allso saide that it very easy to be mistaken about it, and the only way to be comepletely shure was to look at it under a microsope.

And psoriasis shoud not make your hair thin should it or give you a yellow funges on your scalp and nails should it?.

Could it be possiple that i have both?

  • You may have both if they share the same symptoms like a lot, if you have more than the other then it must be the other one that you have, understand? :)

I use to have Seborrheic Dermatitis on my Face (All over my Face) and behind the lower part of my ears and on my scalp..

  • Well the skindoctor has now sent me to a place where they are going to look at it under a scope

  • When i use to get hot spots (its when the skin starts to melt off like it gets red and itchy and liquid come out (very very microscopic) i would wash my face with Dove(moisturizing) then grabb Cotton balls and dip them in a cup of cold Milk and then let it dry on my face and then it turns to a very slight powder (kind of, not really tho..) and the next day its mostly gone, to me that cools it down, cause milk has vitamin D and other ingidients..

  • Why not just drink alot of milk, i used to do that, and that did not help.

i also used theese moisurizing creames like decuball and that did not help at all

  • yeah, dove soap it really good for it as it doesnt dry out the skin, i use palmers olive oil cream on it after washing it with dove and on the whole it clears it up

  • would you pleasse answer

  • I'm sorry that i'm responding this late..

I'm on Youtube like 2 times in a week, ok..

Now, has you're doctor looked to your skin under a microscope? Thats how he can detemine which it may be....

Scalp psoriasis is often persistent and more difficult to treat than seborrheic dermatitis. For stubborn cases of scalp psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe oral medications, such as methotrexate or cyclosporine, or combine stronger medications with medicated creams and ointments....

  • Most often, the scales of psoriasis are thicker and somewhat drier in appearance than are the scales of seborrheic dermatitis. In addition, psoriasis usually affects more than one area of the body. If you have scalp psoriasis, you may also have mild psoriasis on your elbows, knees, hands or feet or may notice subtle nail changes.
