@SirHumanoid Yes. The Arab lobby is alive and well in the US. Except, they do not represent any grassroot efforts - only their own concerns. Saudi Arabia and other wealthy arab countries spend alot of money trying to influence decisions made on capital hill. They have spread their money to both sides of the House. So the decisions are not about what Americans want, but what these foreign powers want.
@SirHumanoid Israel never asked anyone to fight its battles! Iraq was an American thing from the get go. the Oil thirsty war mongers did not need any help in pushing America into that shit hole... When Iraq tried to obtain nuclear capability (1981) and thus threaten Israel's safety, what did the USA do?... exactly, NOTHING! Israel took out the reactor without anyone's help. I absolutely agree that US troops in Iraq died for bogus causes, but Israel's safety isn't one of those.
