  • Old GE box fan motors are not very good and they won't ever be because most of them are called flaming motor

  • I don't worry about them too much. A fireplug will deal with any shorts before it gets too bad.

  • It's a GE motor the so called "fireball of doom" I'm keeping an eye on it. I restored it about a month ago till the blades loosened again.
