I can't believe people disagree with this. This game is horrid. Fighting game mechanics in an adventure/platformer? That just spells disaster from the very get go.
This is the worst fucking review I've ever seen lol. Learn to fucking play it. It's true that the controls are a little bit stiff, but it's a matter of getting used to it. Good graphics, amazing soundtrack, original, what the hell else did you want?

My brother owned the game, I never got to beat it because I was a little kid, but it wasn't all that BAD. I miss it :P

Remember in Futurama when the slurm queen makes the crappy slurm soda and sells it, then says she plans to bring back regular slurm a year later to get rich, they pretty much did that. Released a piece of shit, then when mk4 came out people were like "well I'm not playing mythologies, so thats already a plus"
@SeadoRegadetho I don't know about that. Horribly stiff controls don't make a game hardcore, they make it unplayable. Honestly using the B button to turn in any game is inexcusable, much less a platformer. I understand that they were trying to make the game like a Mortal Kombat game, but it really wasn't executed well. Just for reference I looked up the review in Nintendo Power 103. NP gave the game a 4.3 out of 10.
I love the MK series. I've always been an MK fan at some point during the franchise's existence, and even at 7 or 8 years old I knew this game was complete garbage.
Why is the girl there? she didn't comment on anything except for the shrinking avatar after you die. and then she randomly has a hedgehog?! <--thats cool but, i would still prefer the other guy (the one who hoed the grass) because he does say random funny comments.
I actually think MK: Zub Zero is one of the best MK games... the game still sucks dont get me wrong but this is actually one of the better titles in the series
