@rssfeedslive Teddy did a blatant attempt of drawing attention to himself, diminishing the story of the match by not selling and doing moonsaults and a shooting star press off the top of the cage. The other wrestlers had to break kayfabe and literally catch him for doing these unplanned spots, putting both himself and them in danger. CM Punk, before he was in the WWE, publicly lambasted him on his LJ for this-the entry's still there. Teddy got blackballed from ROH because of this incident.

Wrestling is scripted; but all of this was completely unplanned and got him blackballed from the wrestling promotion where this occurred. It was a blatant attempt of drawing attention to himself that drew the ire of pretty much every wrestler in the entire independent circuit who learned about it, seeing as they would probably end up working with the guy.

@wlwilliford0207 Inevitably. It was because Punk post an entry on his old LiveJournal, before he was in the WWE, that publicly lambasted Teddy for this. Teddy later provoked Punk into a fight which led to him being blackballed from TNA, where Punk soon quit later on to work for ROH. It's ironic that a member of the famed Hart family never amounted to any success in the WWE despite his lineage while a street kid from Chicago became their biggest star and a five-time world champion.
