why do many people say that the 7.3 powerstroke is the better motor? are the newer engines not as powerful real world or reliable?

@odarville No the newer motors are just as reliable, every motor has its problems. also with the newer motors they are haulted with all the emissions crap. most of the people saying these things are biased and or have never driven a new motor. just look at the power the 6.4 can put out with a good tuner... simply unbelievable

Great truck. Too bad it has a crappy diesel engine. The 7.3 diesel is by far a better motor. Ford had a good motor and then discontinued it.
