I downloaded your original MP4 file from sugar0 and it's only 20 frames per second. That's why the video is jerky. What happened to the other 4 frames per second that the N900 is supposed to record at?
The video recording frame rate is completely random in the N900, even with the latest update (v1.2). I just recorded two videos back-to-back, and without touching any settings, the first video was at 5.01 fps (!), and the second video varies between 15 and 22 fps (I have no idea how that is possible :S). Maybe there is some synchronisation problem with transfers between the camera module and the CPU.
the video is untouched ! I dont know why it record at 20 fps ... is there a setting to adjust ?
