no, I should know cause im 13, and I still play w/ them. and i would recommend v4.5 because it has more fun games and new characters other that v4. but since its 2010, they don't sell v4's or v4.5's in toy stores any more, but i saw some at a walgreens believe it or not; the latest tamas are v6's. Hope this helps

@TouchTheCrazy v4 has glitches like sometimes when u change the batterie, it beeps and the screen flashes so i would recommend v4.5 or v5

My sis has 2 tamagotchis she did have 3 but my mum flushed it down the loo and I lost mine 4 a year got a new 1 and found it in my coat pocket two days laterlol

I'v got 2: 1 v4 & 1 v5, but I'm going 2 have a tmgc+c (tamagotchi + color) soon, it's coming on the end of June, I'm soooooooooo excited :D

I used to have tamas version 1 through four plus a mini, and I sold them! Now I have 2 4.5's, a v.5 and a v.6. I wish I had them all back. :(

My 1996-1998 tamagotchis are tamagotchi P2, Mesutchi & Osutchi.

My 2004-2009 tamagotchis are Tamagotchi V2, Tamagotchi V3, Tamagotchi V4.5, Tamagotchi V5.

My 2004-2009 Japanese tamagotchis are Tamagotchi suku, Entama, Uratama, Oden kun, Tamagotchi Familitchi and Tamagotchi color.

I have V1, V2, V3, V4, V4, V4.5, V5 and V5.

V1 - Pink with pinky buttons, but C button dosen't work.

V2 - Blue with pink buttons and has haiwain flowers.

V3 - Pink with yellow buutons and ice cream pictures.

V4 1 - White with yellow buttons and coloured spots. But middle button broken off.

V4 2 - TMGC with Kuchipatchi and purple buttons.

V5 1 - Pink and says "LOVE MY FAMILY" on it.

V5 2 - Black with gems on it. My favourite one ^_' .

I have 16 tamagotchis. 2 V1's, 1 V2', 2 V3's, 2 V4's, 2 V4.5's, 2 V5's, 1 UraTama, 1 Tamagotchi Angel, 1 P1, 1 Osutchi and 1 Mesutchi.

I'm currently running 1 P1, 1 V2, 1 V3, and 1 V5. I'll SOON be running a Pocket Pikachu 2 when he HOPEFULLY arrives in the mail today!

My tama v.1 is the only one I couldnt choose my self, so its the only one that is not pink. Its blue with white Tama-egg prints, and v.2 is a pink one with flowers, v.3 pink with ice creams, v.4 pink with food items, and v.4.5 is pink with leafs. I hope Ill get v.5 soon, when it appears in my country.
