This is an example of how different species can relate and play together. Tigers are very personable and curious - (also unpredictable) and Orang-Orangoutangs are one of the most loving creatures on Earth. The tiger is about half grown it looks to me, if it's a Bengal - Sumatran Tigers are smaller - so I assume it's still a cub. People don't understand that animals have all the feelings and sense of fun that we do - and they love to relate, especially if they have been raised together.

From what I can see, the tiger has no leash device or muffle of any sort. Even if this tiger is far from a truly "wild" cat, it's amazing and quite heartwarming to see that two vastly different animals can get along and be so playful with enough interaction and conditioning.

This was in the news earlier. The tiger did leave minor cuts on the orangutan's face, and part of its finger was bitten off. These two have not been allowed in the same cage since. We may try and get them together again in a couple months, now that three years have passed.
