When I try and use the pen tool it like makes a black box where ever I have a hole, and when I right click the stroke path is blurred out. (cant click it)

Once you press P and open the pen tool, the TOP LEFT there are 3 boxed, choose the middle one and it will create a path instead of a mask.

Top left corner there is an option to take the pen off masking. The 3 little boxes once you have selected the pel tool (p). Choose the middle one =D. Then right click and stokre path. Like it says in the video. Good Luck :)

i have a problem here. when i bend the pen tool it has a black background with it i cant make lines because of it.

Well.. not you can buy a tablet and draw it.. or use a mouse with brush tool ( good luck ). Using the pen tool is easiest.

i mean make the blue sketch layer as the reference and go back to the black line to draw...

until you copy the blue sketch with complete detail in the black layer?

Dude dude... just press ctrl+Shift+N to make a new layer and do you black lines on a seperate layer :).

you do have stroke path you just need to change the pen from fill to marque.

press P and look on the horizontal toolbar. Should be some boxes on the left of it, click the 2nd one in.

Just a normal solid brush on size 3. :) :)

press B to select your brush, and just adjust the size to what you want it, then stroke path with simulated pressure ^^.

it's weird, my photoshop 7 came with no pen, so it's sooo much harder for me to draw on it, any advice??

3 things :D.

You could either track down a photoshop 7 addon which adds the pen device to your tools.

Get a later release of Photoshop such as CS2/3/4

OR Buy a tablet, getting a tablet is fun :D!
